I heard rumors of guest taps by Hill Farmstead and Holy Mountain - but not 100%. Would be happy if they brought some secret face and birthday cake milkshake along with them.

Can't tell if this is gonna be chill or not.

I know that the hype meter would be:

    1. High Road
    2. Alien Church
    3. Pineal

In order of longest line first.

Where does Technicolor sit in this? Last release I went to was Refreshing, rolled up right before 7, no line, beautiful. Only releases I like to go to.

Well, here's hoping those guest taps (especially Monkish) also make it to Saturday :/ Hoping I won't be disappointed by what's available. I've been talking this up to a buddy of mine who's driving from western PA to my house in Nothern VA on Froday so we can get to TH early on Saturday

As far as regular, non-HopHands, non-pilsner offerings (I'm probably missing some), my personal ranking would go:

    1. Alien Church
    2. Technicolor
    3. Pineal
    4. High Road

Not including Oblivex or others released only twice in that ranking, and not sure if that jives with the General Hype-Meter.

Is Alien Church really that highly regarded? I've had it and thought it was great but is the hype really that high for it?

Yeah that was just a matter of time. There are people whi charge for this in NYC for sneakers, Hamilton tickets, iPhones, etc. I know a lot of sneakerheads will pay homeless people to wait for stuff too. Also Supreme.

I like how it was written. "Do you like hate waiting in line? Yea, me too.." but can I convince you to do what you hate for some money? ... lol

There are 200+ people there waiting in line every week for no money. Who is the joke on?

...but they're getting the beer for themselves. I'm confused.

Wouldn't be surprised if this is a quiet release today, considering the anniversary stuff going on this weekend, including a can release.

Not only are they not getting paid. They are paying a good amount for the beer.

My favorite thing that happens (less now) is when people ask what you are waiting in line for, and when they find out, they ask if it is free....

Though I laughed at first... that is such a good question when you think of it from their perspective.

There is always an ashamed acknowledgment on my part when I say that it isn't free.

I suppose the only folks who could relate to waiting in long lines to pay for stuff are emigrants from the former Soviet Unions?:astonished:

    Cheers!

I don't think soviet era Russians would put up with the line shenanigans though
