Other Half Brewing May 2017

    Hey folks bit of a random question but I'm going to be in NYC for a few days with work 17 - 20 June. I'm flying in on Saturday and was thinking of going to Other Half and Threes on the way from JFK to Manhattan to take advantage of the fact I'll have a suitcase with me (And the extra baggage allowance for flying business with work :slight_smile:) so just wondering in general are Other Half cans still available around 2.30 - 3.00 pm on Saturday afternoon? I know this very much depends on that weeks release and whether its a double batch or not but just wanted to get some peoples thoughts to try and make the most of my time?

    Given the last few weeks I'd be surprised if you got there at 3pm and walked away empty handed. Whatever the "hot" release (single batch DDH DIPA) is will have sold out, but one or two or the others should still be kicking about.

    Thanks for that kind of what I was thinking from reading this thread. They'll all be new to me so will plan on making the trip and see what I can pick up. Should set the record that day for making the 3,176 mile trip to the brewery at least!

    Forever Simcoe, in all it's iterations, is a good stock up beer, in that it's got a crisp, easier drinking way about it, that I don't soon tire of.

    I know OH has refrigeration space issues, but a double batch of at least 1 beer every weekly release would probably solve so many of the typical problems that are discussed ad nauseum on this board. People who don't want to/can't wait in line could show up the next day or two and still get a great beer from each release. Been liking that they've been doing that more often.

    Now this begs the question: do I get there early to make sure I get DDH Dream in Green and DDH Forever Simcoe or do I sleep in and guarantee Still Shinin' cans and go to LIC for their release after?

    I have the best problems.
