Yeah it makes sense to me. I don't mind it, was just saying that based on the "rules" they shouldn't be. I think it is simpler to check in a variation than it is to add a comment spelling out what everything, mainly because I am lazy.

That's a bit dramatic. I had a BBA SSU tonight. Thought it was fine. Still prefer it to the regular SSU, but I'm not a coffee guy. Fell off a bit (which admittedly is unfortunate for a BBA Stout) but certainly not a drain pour. Beer nerds are so dramatic.

Drinking a Vietnamese BBA SSU. Drain pouring it, provided we are calling my gullet a drain, which I'm fine with.

Everything else aside, it tastes pretty darn good.

It's Don't drink beers. He's popular for being rediculous. Took a BBA-SSU to the share at Burley Oak last weekend and it was well received.

Regular SSU (6 pk/$16) and Mint Chocolate SSU (6 pk/$17) cans dropping tomorrow hopefully around 4. Excited to have SSU back in cans!

Someone is going to be happy....

As for me, I'll allow it.

Mint Chocolate is really tasty. Haven't had this canning run of SSU yet, though I bought a case to split. The new firkin of SSU is not to be missed if you like your cinnamon so intense that it makes you think there's a few peppers in there. Could just be me. Really good and a great value.

Have there been any canning runs recently, outside of SSU? I was hoping to grab a few six packs before we leave for vacation this weekend.

They really need to be better about advertising when they drop cans! Or do they do it and I'm going to the wrong places? I usually check their Instagram or Twitter.

I was there Saturday afternoon and the only cans were SSU and Mint Choco SSU. They did have 3 HopVision beers on for crowlers; Mosaic, Citra Lupulin Powder, and Motueka.

HopVision: Citra lupulin powder should be in cans today too...

Mosaic was the best of the three HopVisions, in my opinion.

I think there was mention about it on twitter that the 19th was the next proposed date for cans.

I don't have any inside info as far as their methods of alerting people to cans, but it may have something to do with the whole mobile canning line situation. Plenty of things out of their control would delay or cancel that, I'd imagine. Could be that they'd rather not blow it after announcing it and then saying "Oops..."

    No idea, though.

Pretty much. The main idea is to not get everyone's hopes up and then let them down. Why tell everyone you're going to have cans available when that may not be the case? It's safer for them to just wait and see how the day goes and then let everyone know what is available. It's not like they are going to sell out in the first night anyway.

The mobile canning is not a huge issue honestly. The main problem is usually the weather since it effects multiple portions of the operation. Weather has cancelled at least one or two canning days and affected others. Yesterdays strong thunderstorms nearly caused another but it passed just in time to get the last run in.

Until they figure out if or when they will get their own canning line, this is how its going to be.
