    Do what now? I'm just kibitzing here. Alas, I'm not going to the release. The closest I expect to get to Rusty Nail is...well, a rusty nail. Or an oxidized wood faster, as you once called it.

    Is there usually a big line for this? Since I am new to the area, I am wondering what time I should come get in line for the release. Is being there on time good enough to guarantee some beers or do I need to show up early? Being astout fans, both my fiancee and I are definitely into this and want to make sure we can get a bottle.

    Read pages 8 and 9 of this thread from the release last year. My guess would be no.

    I hear they have 3x the amount from last year, but I bet it will be gone by 1.

    Get there around 10. I will be there with my friends around 9ish

    I heard they made more this year, but had not heard it was that much more (if that's accurate, then that's great news). However, they're distributing to California this year, so I'm not sure how much the production increase is going to help any of us locally. '

    As you indicated, I expect finding RN (either at the brewery or in the wild) is going to be very iffy and problematic proposition.

    Thanks for the rough time frame, I was planning on around 9.30. Hopefully that is early enough. Then again, I am not going to wait in line much longer than that for a beer anyways. I plan to get a bottle to age for a year or so and another bottle to send to a friend down in San Diego.

    He hooked me up a few years ago with a WootStout (3.0 version is freaking beautiful aged for a year).

    Where is everyone? My wife, daughter and I had a lot of fun camping in the UBG last night. You don't have to be 21 to get an allocation of bottles do you? My daughter is 10 months old but I am hoping I can buy bottles in her name and put them in her college fund. If anyone has an extra hand truck they can spare please bring, mine was stolen last night...I knew I should have locked to the bike rack :angry:
