Co-sign to all of this. I wonder why today's line was so short anyway?

 

Expected a long line and was pleasantly surprised. Thinking the threat of rain and the fact there was only one "new" can today kept it lighter than normal?

 

I think it might have been due to the fact that it was only one double IPA and it was Forever Simcoe. One of their most underrated beers.

 

Loved the last few weekends. Been able to roll round and grab what I wanted early afternoon and zero line. Had everything still when I left 20 mins ago

You do the corporate challenge by chance?

 

Glorious day today weather wise and beer wise, this is the way acquiring beer should always be. Jumped in the car in Nassau about 10:30, put the top down and headed west. Relatively light traffic, got a spot 5 minutes from OH with no problem, rolled right in tap room and walked out.

Jumped back in car, headed north to Singlecut, traffic not bad, pulled right in front of SC, grabbed two 4 packs of Billy Full Stack. Contemplated going for the trifecta at LIC, but have more than enough beer.

Grabbed some shrimp cocktail, a ribeye on way home, going to be a great night !

Oh yeah, not that there is anything wrong with it , but it was a sausage fest at OH!

 

Sausages marinated in double IPAs.

I was there before 11 and some people were already hammered. Glad I didn't have to be there for more than 2 minutes.

 

Its been awhile since I have been in there and still remember the days of 5 people standing in the tap room, definitely a shock to the senses of current scene.

 

Saturdays are for the boys at OH

 

Cheers for that mate but it's the 17th that I'll be trying to get to Other Half, hopefully it'll be a repeat of today and I'll leave a happy man.

Bizarrely enough I was able to pick this up on Thursday in my local off license!



I was expecting a hoppy beer but looking forward to trying am Imperial Porter from these two breweries.

im not sure i saw the captain lawrence collab that other half did mentioned on here. did anybody have that? when/where was it released?

 

I didn't go but it was released at Captain Lawrence on 4/20
