Other Half Brewing June 2017

Ah my bad mate! Fingers crossed. If last few weeks are an indicator should be golden

 

I ran it last Wednesday, always a great time and plenty of motivation to run faster.

 

Yeah fingers crossed alright but I'm sure I'll pick up some quality beer regardless!

 

First time having DDH Forever Simcoe. Never had a beer with a smell and taste so different. Incredibly funky smell, super smooth taste, excellent beer.

 

Just wait, it does a super fruity thing in a couple weeks

 

Was exactly one case of dream left about 815, in case anyone was wondering, tons of other stuff and killer draft lineup.

 

ah no i did not. was still recovering from the brooklyn half.

forever simcoe has some serious asparagus cat piss aroma. it taste great but no one brings out the feline urine smell in simcoe like fresh other half.

 

My wife hates beer, I had her smell it, said same thing!

 

Here at about 3pm Sunday...line out the taproom door...2 bartenders. Can't wait for the new tap room to open

 

Still cans left? I might head over in a few.

 

Yep. Looks like it, seen people walk out with them.

 

Still Shining is really good. Love a good ol' single IPA.

 

Having an end-to-end after it and its even better!

 

Agreed, nothing extraordinary about it, but very well made, excellent beer. Being able to roll in and grab it at 11:30 makes it taste even better! If OH is able to keep this up with double batches and maybe up production a bit, a lot more people are going to enter back into their scene to get cans.

 

Its a shame that these releases have caused so many of us to stay away from places we love, maybe we can all come back soon.

Probably a dumb question - any Space Soyez bottles still at the brewery?

 

Any simcoe cans left?

 

I was told DDH Small Green Everything and DDH Hop Showers.

 

And do we have to wait until Wednesday to buy what's left or are they open today and tomorrow to move product? I dream of a day when all the city breweries are open 7 days a week and starting at noon (hell, 11AM since it's 12 o' clock somewhere).
