Didn't make it after all, ended up at singlecut as that was more on my direct path b/c like always my traffic was a nightmare 3 hours for 1.5 hour trip

Mmm, it'd be nice if Oscillation hit some kind of Manhattan distro again. I haven't had Oscillation in a while.

Doing the pre-sale thing has helped the lines issues.

Just cracked open a can of Caviar. This beer is unreal. Historically there've not been many styles that I avoid. Double digit ABV IPA's are one of them. I generally find them too boozy. But lately the NE craze has produced some amazingly drinkable high ABV IPA's. And this one is the epitome. Intensely flavorful, and while you can tell it's a high ABV beer, it's scary drinkable. Great stuff.

Damn, I really enjoyed Smooth Beats Miami. I may have to jump on that presale.

I had this on draft at the Ginger Man on Friday, and you are really spot on. It hit hard as a triple, but it didn't just taste like booze as we thought it would. My buddy and I found it very tasty.

What no Finback love today? How was the release? Anyone try Smooth Beats? I'm dying for a "it's not as good as the first batch/it's better than the first batch". I need to know.... Loved this last time. Hoping I didn't waste money on a case.

I swung by after Other Half. Drank IT, SBM and Caviar on tap and got a bottle of Faster Than Light to go. Low key vibe and no hassle. My type of scene.

All three of those beers were good.

SBM was good. Can't remember if it was better or worse than in the past but I hate those comparisons anyway.

SBM is very similar to last years. Aroma doesn't seem to be as powerful (maybe less dry hop?) but taste wise it is on point. Just a really unique beer. It's still difficult to wrap my head around this even being an ipa.

IT is actually amazing. Seems like a fairly straight forard neipa formula but there is something about the clean taste and aroma of Finback's house yeast. It imparts some interesting characteristics on the hop blend. Never had anything from Aslin before but this is a seriously good beer. Super clean and juicy with that neipa soft mouthfeel.

Maybe people meant it when they said they were going to move past finback after yoga-gate earlier this year?

Anyone happen to know if these guys ever plan on releasing We Are All One again? That was a phenomenal pale ale and cans of it would be a hit.

Anyone pick up pre-orders? Was out of town this weekend so I pre-ordered a case of SBM. Never got anything besides a PayPal receipt....I assume I can just give them my name/ID.

I really enjoyed the Spill the Tea brew, although I had the Jack's Abby version which has a much sleeker can.
