There was also a family that had been buying 6 cases of each (when it was no limit) all pissed off because they NEEDED 28 bottles today. They tried to go through a second time and got busted and turned away. Gotta love the families the profiteer together.

That's terrible. That is no doubt the part of this hobby that I hate.

Damn!!!! That's at the low end of $25 a bottle that's close to $9,000 if they managed to get 6 cases of each.

I am sure they pre sold most of it. No way they are speculating with the types of limits cycle does these days.

Those people were the ultimate grand mules too.... looked straight out of a nursing home and pops had a push walker that was motorized with 2 cases stacked up dragging his ass behind it.

The people with the walker got back in line both days there was limits. I'm not sure where they would unload that many bottles. Seems like a lot. Maybe I'm wrong.

It was a pretty exciting week for cycle. There was the road rage incident on Central, the cops showing up for a guy and then ambulances today.

I was hoping to grab some of whatever's left on Monday. Good to know I can save time by instead getting them on an auction site at $80/per.

Nothing new. Many grab bottles just to flip. Fomo is real :slight_frown:

I mean it's not like there is a chance of a "surprise" drop Double Barrel DOS on Monday if you missed out this week. Then again it could be tues/wed/thurs/fri or not at all...

True. Never been to the bay so I'll be drinking some awesome new beer regardless of what gets bought by flippers.

I didn't go one day, didn't get one bottle. This line at 8am, while I could go, is rediculous. I think I'm over the hump... I'm not waiting in lines anymore. The reward isn't worth the time.

Life is much better once you decide that beer isn't worth waiting hours in a line. The beer that you had to have and waited 5 hours for it tastes nearly identical to some other beer you probably already have.

I personally don't have a problem with the 8 am Cycle releases. If I can make it before work I show up by 7:15 and if I can't then I don't go. And that's driving over from Orlando. I'm in El Cat since beginning so enjoy not waiting for those and am cooling on the Angry Chair craziness.

Yeah I'm with ya on 5 hour beer lines but cycles ain't no thang, show up at 8 and outa there within 30 minutes.. I've waited longer than that for my check before
