A lot of Dogfish Head 120 is hitting shelves on the I65 corridor of Indiana. Seems to be way more than the last few releases. Stock up!!

Yeah, it's everywhere in and around Chicago currently.

Although good, it's such a chore to tackle one of those single-handedly because of high abv that I haven't even drank the bottles I bought last couple of years. I know I've drank bigger format stouts with slightly lower abv, but for an Imperial IPA in the 17-18% it's just a bit excessive. I expect IIPAs to still be relatively easy drinking and refreshing, not a slow sipper.

I expect those bottles to be around for a long time on shelves.

I actually agree... don't like to throw the word "novelty" around but that's how 120 has always felt for me. 90 minute has always been far more enjoyable in my book.

I imagine turpentine has a similar flavor.

That's a little uncalled for. And no, it doesn't taste like turpentine, at least any that I've tasted.

I've always seen it as kind of a strong ale sipper, something that you sit back with at the end of the night. Maybe I'm wrong.
