What beer are you drinking now? #1696

Made it back from our vacation. Nice and hot, especially upstairs with the AC on "they're still at work, so I'm not working hard" mode. Outside in the shade is actually nicer, but not as nice as downstairs in front of the fan, relaxing one more afternoon until back to work. Gonna do it with beer, starting with:


Having a beer we got from our last vacation to end this vacation. Let this Gangsta Frog IPA one go an extra month plus, but having a clean IPA - even if it's now a more balanced old school east coast at this point - is actually quite refreshing.

P.S. I see I'm going to miss page one

there is always some snow at 10,947 ft. Memorial day weekend is when it traditionally opens an they actually just closed it briefly a couple days ago due to storm like conditions

Dessert: Bourbon Pecan Pie
Since I no longer live in CO, I'm not able to go to Rock Bottom Restaurant and Brewery.... But the wait is always well worth it.
Liquid Sun is the PERFECT summer beer, and the ice cream on top of the pie was appreciated, considering the hot weather.

I saw @SomethingClever ordered one of these at the virtual bar last night. Were I home, I would've joined him. As it sits, I'll have to enjoy this Union Old Pro Gose on my own this hot day, probably in quick fashion:

 

Porch drinking part two with a draw of Half Acre Vallejo from a fresh keg I picked up yesterday. No one around here can beat them at delivering the goods both in quality and price. My keg deposit has been rolling for probably six years. I feel a nap coming on!
