Canned on 5/25, not a lot of flavor with this one :slight_frown:

Nice beer from Grimm. Big tart mango aroma and flavor with some vanilla and lactose milk sugars. Slightly milkshake-esque. Pretty good. Cheers!

Damn, I wish I had saved this for my next sushi session. Of all the beers in this pack, this one sounded the most intriguing to me. Cheers!

Brewed with Pils and Wheat Malts with a touch of CaraBelge, a generous dose of Ekuanot, Simcoe and Mosiac hops. Fermented with BSI-1 American Ale yeast. Dry-hopped at high krausen with six pounds of a Simcoe and Mosiac blend and then dry-hopped again post diacetyl-rest with 12.5 pounds of Simcoe pellets and 11 pounds of Ekuanot powder.

Just cracked this open. Large bitterness up front with some big time orange (mandarin or clementines), pine, tropical fruit salad, and soft pillowy malt at the end. Very tasty pool beer.

    Dinner time!
Local Maine flavor is the theme.
86 yr old lady owned the farm and sea food store. The lobster rolled in the boats at 3 pm. She called me at 4 pm. I picked up warm (very important for us) lobster rolls and 2 steamed lobsters.
Paired with a Maine hoppy Ale canned on 06/07/17.
    Feeling thankful and blissful:slight_smile:
    Cheers

Well I see there is a thread for Stone haters. Not sure why. Someone said it's "an IPA brewery". Well yes, mainly it is. So if you don't like IPAs why would you even buy Stone? Anyhow they have stood the test of time, unlike many. And though they try to diversify things their base IPA never changes. It's similar to Sierra Nevada. Quality, consistency and price. Anyhow this was always my favorite EB. This year is no different. Especially in 12 ounce cans. [IMG]

These things always got to be done!

    2nd packaging vs. 1st packaging.

Overall? They are very similar, but slightly different.
Older bottle is less sweet on the nose and palate. Newer can has a nose of candied fruit not apparent in the older bottle. Older bottle is a lot less bitter on the finish. As for the feel? Older bottle wins! So, due to the feel old beats new! Cheers!

Oh, here's the first live version and yes, I was there.

    @Marklaker,
Glad to have brought a smile to your face :grinning: and am thankful for the BDay wishes.

As a lover of all things craft beer and what fellow BA's are contributing to the WBAYDN thread, here is (most likely) my last round for the evening:

I love crab too. This place is Sanborn's Lobster and vegetables in Kennebunkport. It's a classic hole in the wall kinda place. But you are guaranteed fresh lobster caught that very day.
