The prices I quoted are binnys which in my experience is as close as you get to MSRP. No way will northwoods be cheaper than regal.

I'm intrigued too, but not very optimistic. I'm surprised they're going all in with a production run of it. I'd probably try to scale this first see if it falls apart. Brewhouse/festival only kind of thing.

They should've tested out 2016 Prop before going into production with it, too.

Wait, we're guessing prices for the reserve barleywine before we know the most important factor in the pricing? Specifically, does it come in a wooden box?

I liked it - but I can see how it was divisive.

Wait, I thought '15 Rare boxes were made from the barrels they were aged in?! At least that's what someone's mule, who knew a guy who told them, who told me when I was in my BF line.

Yeah, I liked it too. I have a couple bottles in my house just waiting for the right time. I agree on seeing how it could be divisive, but in general sweet variants of BCS go over pretty well with me.

I liked it as well. Some people aren't into spice. But that is what I like about Prop, it is meant to be unique. It is always excellently done. But some people will not prefer it. I am stoked for this next Prop.

Well, I'm in the crowd that enjoyed 2015 (before it went south with infection). 2016 is a mess to me - I've ordered it at a bar before and left about half in the glass. But then I've got a buddy that loves it.

I didn't like 2016 either. I was glad to trade my bottle.

I had one recently & it tasted way better than I remembered it being fresh.

Glad I've got a couple more tucked away...
