Eh, put them in four or six packs and I'll be interested. Why buy IPAs in expensive bombers when there are so many good ones available in other formats.

There are so many good IPAs out these days. I'd rather pay $8-9 for a single bomber than $16 for a 4pk when I already have so many hoppy brrs in my fridge.

Now if they did a mixed 4pk of 16oz cans with one of their staples thrown in as the 4th, I'd be down for that!

    Thank you.

Honestly, I do tire of the $/oz discussion.

There are some of us that like bombers, because we can drink a bomber and move on to something else. Without accumulating 12oz beers that we won't drink for months. ( big problem with IPAs ).

Each format has its place. And our motivation for buying beer varies.

I will continue to buy ESBC bombers

I couldn't agree with you more. I can't get myself to by $7-$10 bombers when i can grab a 4-pack of Booming Rollers for $10 or a 6-pack of Amalgamator for $14. If i wanna taste them all, i'll go to ESBC and try tasters.

But to each his own, and I respect that

WoW does no one care about ESBC Unity IPA, very nice beer. Shit I likely, I wonder why they dont get too much love on the forums they got some very solid beers. Maybe not hoppy or hazey enough!?

Dig ESBC's hopped up beers. But would love to see some in can's.

With them getting a nice new bottling machine I doubt cans will be coming anytime soon.

I like El Segundo a lot, still amazed I get day one bottles down here in Carlsbad.

Too expensive. I think they make fantastic beer, and will occasionally buy a bottle or two and will buy a draft whenever I come across them, but their bottle prices are borderline offensive. More power to them, as it seems to be working ok for them.

I thought the price range is above average. Tha'ts why Mayberry is my go to ESBC beer > $7/bomber. Most of their others are good but for the $$? That's why I'd like to see cans (a lot of the other brewery's are going that route) or at least 6pk or 4pk bottles. Come on man.......

I agree - hard to continuously buy $9 bombers.

Noble's premium bottles at $9 per bomber versus ESBC's higher priced (premium) bomber's at $9-10? I prefer Noble's over ESBC. But ESBC's bottles are easier to get. But that should change here is a little bit. Noble's expansion whenever that is......plus going to the can man.

For the same price as one of their bombers you can get a sixer of FW Luponic.

True. But not the same beer. LD is good. But ESBC IPA's are more hoppier. IMO.

I personally do not think El Segundo's bomber price is high. I just think BOMBER prices are high in general. I personally do not care what kind of vessel my beer comes in, just make it cheap.

I feel their consistently up there with Beachwood's. $8-$9 range and possibly $10 for double IPA's. With 6ers of Amalgamator now, it's really an easy choice for me.

Surely, you can't be serious...unless you are strictly talking about the bottles and not the beer.

I am saying bombers across the board are expensive, in this case IPA's. I'd rather get 4 or 6 packs. Bomber's of quality IPA's are easily $7-8, and 4 or 6 packs are always cheaper on a per oz basis, I get economies of scale, but that is a drastic change, typically by half. When I can buy a 4 pack of booming rollers (16oz cans) for $12 or a 22oz bomber for $8, bomber prices do not make sense.

How about the case of Noble's Citra Showers which were $9 per bomber versus the new 16oz cans in 4pk at $22? A little cheaper than 3 bombers at $27.

The cans are a better option, but they are still expensive compared to the market for cans. I wouldn't buy a 4 pack, but maybe a can or 2. My opinion is that these should be closer to $4 a can, but at least the beer is great.
