Let's see if it recommended a beer to go with spam on the Beer and Food board, that would be a clue.

I tweeted to them as I noticed no moderators or staff were online. It really is an impressive amount of spam going on.

That is an impressive amount of SPAM. We should all chip in on a nice box of beer for whomever cleans all of that up.

 

I was hoping for the admins/mods sake it would be as simple as deleting the user. Guessing it's going to get a lot harder to get a new account now though..

 

Unfortunately, it looks like a bunch of different accounts.

After this is all cleaned up, i'd love to see some stats of how many accounts and how many posts this was.

Also, you will all deserve a beer. I hope there is an easy way for you to clean it up.

 

I assume the SPAMmers thought process goes something like this, but I feel like they may not have fully considered Step 2.

Step 1: Flood BA with Chinese SPAM
Step 2: ???
Step 3: Profit

At first I was like.. O shit what button did i push that changed the language on me. Then I started looking for the settings. Took me a minute to realize that is was all SPAM. Glad my hangover was not the cause.

 

I woke up to this and wondered if I had been chugging all my high ABV BA beers last night.

Then I remembered I didn't drink at all last night.

Just a spambot attack, which the admins will clean up when they get online.
