Zima could make a MillerCoors comeback

To the best of my knowledge it never went away. At the very least we've been carrying it where I work for the last five or six years.

 

Maybe TV Land will have some Miami Vice on and I can run down to the store in my Lamborghini and get a six pack. Maybe take a cruise by the AirBase and wave at Tom Cruise as he takes off in his jet.

 

I had a Zima yesterday, ice cold, very refreshing, paired w/Cajun chicken and rice pilaf.

 

I just chugged a bottle 5 minutes after finishing a DDH Double Mosaic Dream from Other Half. Both were great!

 

I'd actually rather like to see Michelob Dry come back... but that's just me.

 

Maybe the Zima Afterburner made the aggregate great. That would work for just before the show, or a tear down Copperhead Road.

 

I drank the shit out of that in the mid to late 90's. Returnable bottles, maximum refreshment!

Missed an opportunity to do a NE style Zima. Add some haze and you got a winner, MillerCoors!

 

I might be tempted to try it again for old times sake, if I can get a single...

 

Lol this stuff sold out so quick in our store. 7 of the 10 6pack cases we got were sold as cases

 

The 90's batches were SOOO much better

I don't think anybody gives a shit about ZIMA's come back. It was awful then and it's awful now. And it's not even beer, so it shouldn't be on here.

 

Looks like MillerCoors is having Zima contract-brewed at City Brewing Co. facilities - TTB COLA lists all three, label lists only LaCrosse and uses the 'dba' of Zima Beverage Co.

Pretty sure City was also brewing it when the product was dropped in the US a decade ago.

 

My son got me a single for Fathers Day thanks to this thread. I think I'm going to pass. If it was Malt Duck, well that would be a different story.

 

it's crazy to think all these places will buy up cases of it.

 

I planned to try a single, and actually saw one the other day - but couldn't bring myself to actually buy it...

 

Geezus, Purple Passion, peach schnapps and Orange Jubilee 50/50 was the ilicit backdrop to my early teens, wow the headache memories!

 

Because basic 40 year-olds get nostalgic just like everyone else. It could also just be some grand ploy to sell shitloads of Jolly Ranchers.

 

I used to get cases of Zima in high school as tips from the waitstaff at the restaurant I worked in. dangerous stuff. it tasted like 7-Up and was highly intoxicating to a 17 year old liver.
