Making a thread for Forager, they are starting to bottle more often and wanted a place to check for info on what is being released.

This Saturday, 6/17 at 11am, we will be having a big ole crowler party on our patio. We'll have fresh batches of the following delicious beers available to go, first come, first served. Limits will be based on the number of folks in line and will be announced when sales start on Saturday.
We will do our best to set limits to accommodate as many folks as possible.
    What will be available:
    - 400 Pudding Goggles (Imp. Cinnamon Coconut Porter) :$14
    - 400 Regal Hops (Citra DIPA) $11
    - 200 Booms Hops (Mosaic/Azacca IPA) $10
    - 100 Twisted Zweig: Hallertau Blanc (DDH imp. Berliner Weisse) $18
    - 100 Twisted Zweig: Blue Fruit (Black currant/elderberry/aronia berry imp. Berliner Weisse) $18
    - 150 Preserved Gose: Lemon (Gose w/ preserved Meyer lemons) $10
    - 150 Blackened Gose: Like (Gose w/ blackened limes) $10
    - 100 Sherpa's Survival Kit (double chocolate coffee stout) - $10

We'll have all of these beers available on draft on the patio, as well as delicious, handmade tacos.
Along with the crowlers, we will be selling bottles of Magnus, our honey bourbon barrel-aged stout conditioned on coffee, cacao nibs and vanilla beans. We will have a very limited number of 100 available for sale. Of the 100, 75 of these will be sold ($30, 1 per person) first come, first served, and 25 will be sold to via a raffle. All you need to do is purchase crowlers to be entered in the raffle. The winners will be announced tentatively around 1:30 or 2:00, whenever the line for crowler sales is finishing up. Folks who had the opportunity to purchase a bottle first come, first served will not be allowed to enter the raffle.
We will also have 2 5 gallon kegs of Magnus available on draft on the patio, 1 pour per person.
We'll be selling Magnus shirts for $20 and Magnus glasses for $10 as well.
We will be selling draft pours and tacos on the patio via a ticket system - $3/ticket, or 7 tickets for $20. We'll have chicken, pork, and veggie tacos, 1 ticket/taco. All draft pours are 2 tickets with the exception of Magnus, which is 3 tickets, 1 pour/person.

This is our first big off-sale release and, as such, we aren't sure exactly what to expect for attendance. We will do our best to work everyone through the crowler/bottle/swag line as fast as possible. Bottle sharing will be allowed in line, but it MUST be on our property only. We will be accepting cash or credit card for payment. We will fill in any other details over the next couple days - excited to see some folks this Saturday!

Let the crew have this one. I'm sure someone's already in line holding 74 spots for his buddies.

Magnus is the one of the best brews ive had,the $30 price is well worth it, but 100 single sales and 25 single for raffle is to low for the effort to try to obtain a bottle, (would love one thou)

I read it as 100 bottles total, only 75 for single sales as first come first serve.

You did, it was higher last week. Looks as though they have lowered it this week.

The new batch of Pudding Goggles is pretty amazing. They used more adjuncts than previous batches.

Based on Vanilla Rye 2 or 3 hours in advance of opening should be enough time.

The first bottle release only had about 15 people there when it was released, but I think this one will have hundreds of people there. good thing there is plenty of crowlers

Between stuff like this, and the sticker shock, I'm not having much regret about missing this.

Forager is an excellent brewery with great people behind it, but camping in line and paying $20 for a crowler is just too much for me. I've always loathed camp-out consumerism, and this is basically taking the hell of Black Friday and applying it to beer. I had the Hallertau Blanc the last time I was there, and it's amazing, but $10 for a 12 oz pour is hard for me to justify. Same with a $7 IPA pour.

Obviously this is still working for a lot of people, and I'm thrilled to see Forager doing so well, but there just gets to be a point where the cost (not just dollars, but time) of obtaining great beer outweighs the joys.

Great bottle share with everyone this morning! Come for the bottles/crowlers but stay for the people!
