I agree, and they're extremely simple with almost zero artwork. You're linking the quality of the beer with the quality or artistic reach of the label. I don't see what one has to do with the other - who cares what the label looks like? Isn't it the contents of the package that ultimately matters?

I didn't link the quality of the beer with the quality of the artwork. I linked the quality of the business which is completely different. Again, I would fully expect them to upgrade labels as they do more and more can releases.

You can't compare Maine's labels to these. There was thought put into Maine's. I truly believe when a company makes a great product, it demands great packaging as well. Or at least packaging that is distinctive to the company. Everyone knows a Maine beer, a Tired Hands beer, an OH beer, a LIC beer. You can argue over whether you like the packaging or not, but it is distinctive.

This is absolutely not meant to be a negative comment towards a brewery that has done one can release. I firmly believe that because the beer is great, the labeling will improve over time. Maybe it's just me, but if I owned a brewery that made kick ass beer, I would want packaging I could be proud of.

Not sure those cans will ever need to stand out on a shelf, and not sure that the brewers would agree that the present cans aren't attractive, but I am sure once they catch up with running a brewery they will turn their attention to the least important thing on a to do list that is likely many pages long.

Stopped by on Saturday after the line died down and was able to grab Fluctuation and Photon cans without any wait. Loving both of the beers, great right away. Interested to see how long they last before they fall off. I hit up the grill and the food was great as well!

Also, I heard that the owners had been checking out this thread wanted to respond accordingly. They shared the label from the next can release with me:
