I’ve had this on tap at the brewery a few of times... Never really cared for it. Then last week on my way home, I stop at my favorite taproom. They have a small cooler of stuff to go. They had marked this down. The owner told me no one was buying it. So, I took one home. This stuff is way better in the bottle than on tap. Nice big fluffy head. Going to have to go pick up another one. Starting to come to the conclusion that many of Upright’s beer need more time in the bottle…

 

I literally like that concoction.

 

5% alcohol. Brewed in Georgia.

Früh Kölsch from a growler in a way-oversized Stange.

I've always enjoyed this beer much more from a keg than bottle (which is not typical for me). Fantastic. This is a pre-lawn-mowing beer.

Fruh number two.

 

A clean up day down in the cave that includes washing a few dozen glasses. Gotta pay the piper for providing the beer ****. My final Mars and it's a malt bomb at this point. I wasn't a big fan of it fresh so I'm not lamenting any great loss. Time to get scrubbing, I don't want any dirty glasses!
