Carton Brewing (June 2017)

They were under the impression they would be getting Boat etc

 

Anyone in south jersey find beach yet? Been dying for another low abv beer and no where I've checked has it yet.

 

Anyone know the reason for this? Does it have more to do with the recipe or the brewing process itself?

Checked my spots in Mercer and Burlington counties earlier in the week with no joy. Will check again today and report back.

Wegmans Princeton no Beach but Canals Lawrenceville - copious amount!

awesome. such an underrated beer.

 

Fairly sure any new accounts they've opened recently are Two Roads brewed stuff only until they have the capacity for otherwise.

Also Beach is awesome. It's definitely a beer with orange added, not an orange drink with beer added. Will be drinking a ton of it over the course of the next few months.

 

I picked up some Beach today. They told me that they should have a supply through much of the summer. I like it a lot and plan to do a side by side with Boat.

 

I think Regular Coffee holds up reasonably well. I still have 6 cans and plan to drink them periodically until the next batch is released around New Year.

 

I agree 100% I'm drinking a Shinshu now and it's just as good as the first one I had. Also, Gilded Lily was released in December and is still really good. As expected, the DIPA's don't last as long but many of the other Carton beers really hold up well!

This makes me happy

 

Maybe relative to other Carton beers but I've found Odub tastes far, far better than an equivalent OH beer, for example, after 4 or 5 months. With the exception of All Green Everything.

 

I wouldn't expect any brewer's IPA to taste the same after 4-5 months. But I agree with you that the O'Dubs hold up very well.

 

@augiecarton swang by the brewery today. chatted with Dennis and got to try This Town. that's a brewer's beer. finished a pint without even thinking about it.
