Bottle shares were great. Showed up at 10:30 and had a blast. It helped that our party won 4 Magnus in the lottery from the 7 of us. Beers we're still on tap late for anyone that wanted a taste.

I've looked on thier website, and on the growler list here and didn't find any info (or else I'm blind, and missed it). So does anyone know what their growler fill policy is? I'm headed there Monday, and would like to bring some stuff home, if they have a good policy.

They don't do growler fills at forager unless you are a member, they might have some left over crowlers

Ah, shoot! Well, hopefully they do, otherwise it looks like I'll be hitting up Grand Rounds and LTS for stuff to take home.

They did have a lot of cans left over when I was there. They were out of some cans, and I bought the last Twisted Zweig Dry Hops. The beer was very delicious, but, I really hope that $20 for a can was worth it.

I went last Saturday, tried everything they released and walked away with crowlers each one. While some of these are expensive, both Twisted Zweigs were great, especially the Dry-Hops. Everyone loved Magnus and Pudding Goggles, I did too, but Regal Hops was the real standout to me. Easily comparable to DDH Sue.

I did have the Preserved Gose: Lemon on tap and it was very delicious. I would have loved o try more, but, after a stop at LTS, and a 3+ hour drive home (made even longer by a detour to Hudson), I couldn't have any more. I'll, probably, try one of their cans this weekend on my fishing trip.

I'm interested in how long everyone thinks these crowlers will last? Days? Weeks? Months? I brought one of each out to CA for a buddy this week.

Sorry, how long will they be good. A previous batch of Regal Hops seemed to lose some carb pretty quickly in the crowler I had.

Just too many variables to consider. In theory they should last as long, if not longer than a tap filled growler. At least a couple weeks, But it all depends on how good a job they did when they filled the crowler.

Yeah, it seems like a lot of air is in there. Also the Regal was canned a week before the release. Then everything got shaken in my suitcase.

Given that you spent over $100 on those crowlers, I'd make sure they get drank fresh.

I just drank a Pudding Goggles from March yesterday and it was perfectly fine. Still amazing. My experience with their hops has been variable. Had a Danq last week and it still tasted good haha, but other crowlers I've had after about 3-4 weeks had fallen off somewhat. Nothing that has been close to a drain pour though, so they do last a decent amount of time. I'd still recommend drinking them as fresh as you can though for the full experience obviously, but if you have a fair amount they do last.

So, to get a growler filled you need to be a member or something?

Just got back from my first visit. Yes, prices are high but for the quality of ingredients on a 3 barrel system... The beer is a bargain. Nothing comes close to this brewery in the cities. Every beer was solid. I am very impressed.

The quality of there beer and food is outstanding and I don't mind paying higher prices either since I see the value.

I have to agree, this is a really good brewery. It would be cool if they did a calibration with somebody in the Twin Cities.
