I love my job during the summer, family business and our goal is to work as little as possible and make the same amount of $.

 

Waiting for the damn roofer who was supposed to be here between 8:30 and 10. My wife should be happy as I've been cleaning the house and cooking while waiting. On to my reward, cheers!

 

Heading home today and some Goose IPA while waiting for my flight.

 

Sculpin at O Seafood and Steak. $4 a pint of Sculpin, yes please!

 

Walked the dogs and cleaned the septic tank filter to the leach field. Only one of these tasks was enjoyable! I'm hoping this beer cleanses the senses of a bad experience. On the bright side it's good for another six months.

 

I hate walking the dogs too.

look: 3.5 | aroma: 3.25 | taste: 3.5 | feel: 3.25 | overall: 3.5

Clear amber color with white cap and lacing.

Mild scent of sweet malt and floral hops.

Taste on entry is malt and hops in about equal proportions. If forced I would say malt led but it's really a toss up. Malt is slightly rich and hops pleasantly floral, the whole being balanced without being exceptional.

Medium texture with matching carbonation.

It's been so long since I had the original version any direct comparison to this one would be unfair. I do feel comfortable in saying this recent bottling seems a diminished version of the British brewed original. It did go well with popcorn shrimp.

 

You can clean the shit filter next time. The beer is on me!
