Lets face it I blame this on the facility itself and the way OH have it set it up. Why even have that side door open if they don't want people using it to go in/out? Why have loads of people standing around drinking in the garage during release, making it like trying to get to the front row of a concert when you're just trying to buy some beers?

This will all be fixed when the new 2nd Ave subway taproom opens!

Cheers. Now, the less simple question - will any of these cans last the day? Anyone know the case count yesterday for Aint Nothin?

No double batches this week. There usually won't be double batches if there are 4 beers available.

Echoing the love for Watch It Fall Slowly... NYC is awash in excellent IPAs and DIPAs, but hop-forward pilsners are a total crapshoot. This one is nearly perfect, so fragrant and such a clean finish, like others ITT I wish I bought way more of this.

Hope to make it back before it's gone! I live in Brooklyn but it's still a bit of a trek.

So there's a possibility that there will be 7 cans and 3 bottles available on Saturday. :grimacing:

Yes, but the real question is how much glassware? /s

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I'm gonna be in NYC this weekend and am wondering if its going to be worth a trip over? I'd love to get some cans but will be with the GF so I think a 1+ hour wait in line is out of the question, does that length of line last when cans are gone as well? I'm sure OH has plenty of draft locations around the city so if there's going to be a brutal line no matter what to get cans/growlers/pours in the taproom I'll likely just find a good bar

If you don't care what you get, then given how many different beers will be for sale, I'd say just go in the early afternoon and you'll almost certainly be able to get cans/bottles of something with zero wait. If you specifically want something that's likely to sell out earlier (ie DDH Mylar) then maybe go the bar route instead. There won't be a huge line for pours in the afternoon, but it's not going to be a case of rolling straight up to the counter and ordering immediately either.

I've never been to Other Half and am planning to make the trip from the Lehigh Valley Saturday morning. My plan is to get full allotments possibly, however, if it's just me I'm concerned how far I'm going to park and how I'm going to get all that beer to my car. Is that even physically possible? Will they put it aside so I can make multiple trips if need be? Dumb questions but I want to make sure I figure out logistics ahead of time and if it's even possible..

    Depends how strong you are

But serious answer is they won't put anything aside. There is no space and tons of people. Bring a friend to stand by your beer while you pull around or something to haul the beer in.

Whatever you do, DO NOT park in the McDonald's parking lot. You don't want to be that guy running trying to carry cases of beer to stop your car from being towed.

Actually since he is from Pennsylvania, we highly encourage him to park at McDonalds !

Thanks man! Looks like I'm going only if I can find someone to come along. That sounds like too much stress to handle alone. I doubt I'm carrying 4 cases and 12 bombers 5 blocks by myself and trying to navigate through the crowd..
