    Pappy's Porter dropping today, 1 case pp. I wasn't a huge fan of this last time it was released. A little on the bitter side, and a little thin for my liking. However, some people appeared to really dig it according to the ratings.

    sold out of heady at the brewery? how often does that happen? heading up that way this weekend and would love to not have to cruise stores to get some.

    A chance-y proposition in the summertime anyway. The only place I know of where there's a decent chance of that happening is Beverage Baron in Barre. They hold a few cases of Heady and Sip to release at 7 a.m. on Saturday although I haven't been there since the new brewery opened in Stowe. I'm sure there are other places, too, but I haven't heard about them.

    Is next saturday gonna be a madhouse before the holiday? Does the new place even get crazy anymore? Also really hoping limits for Heady are more than 2 4 packs per...

    2 new beers today, Skadoosh VIII (Summit, Columbus, and Citra Lupulin Pellets) and Lightweight (American Blonde Ale, 4.4%). 1 case limit on the Skadoosh VIII.

    All the Vermont breweries in the northern area (HF, Alchemist) should be very busy this weekend so line up early. Still enjoying some of Alchemist's Lucious stout this afternoon. If they have any when you visit, pick up a 4-pack for the dark drinker you love.

    Skadoosh VIII... I was planning to give half of that away to my friends on the 4th, but after having a can, they'll instead be getting focal banger and crusher. i'm so terribly selfish.
