Been there a couple times and same thing. I honestly don't know how they have lasted this long. Not sure the reason behind the lack of patrons.

 

They can a lot of their stuff, but I can never keep track of what is out at any given time.

I recall liking their Orange Blossom Gose, Peach Spreader and Cherry Darling... no idea if any of those are out right now. I would recommend picking up singles when you see them and going from there.

 

Ok, I know they don't here, Lorain County .... think superior does, not sure. But not Cavalier.

 

I was never a sour guy - but some of Platforms gose/berliners opened me up a bit. Maybe not sour enough for a super sour nerd, but a "gateway drug" for me. Peach spreader was my fav, orange blossom (out now) and passiflora were really great too.

Also with it being warm if you do BBQ I love the low ABV style with it. Can drink a bunch while the smoker is going and sour cuts the sweet, smoke and fat richness really well.

 

Oh. Interesting. In Cuyahoga it's still just us dealing with Platform directly which I love.

 

ya the bottle shop owners had issues, so this is a relatively new thing apparently. They couldn't get any platform for a few weeks.

 

I agree. All of their Goses and Beiners that I have had have been very enjoyable, and I think would have a wide appeal. There have been a few inconsistencies and a few misses, but I feel like they are severely under appreciated for what they are putting out right now.

 

Voodoo's distro has really broadened....seeing it in stores west of Cleveland. that's something New to Ohio

 

Gonna disagree here. Platform is very widely loved in greater Cleveland.

 

I assume they are. That's what lead to opening the Columbus location that is seemingly empty all the time. And that is with no Columbus Brewing taproom yet. My perception was that around Ohio in general I really don't see or hear much regarding them.

Crafted Drafts is opening a store in Hilliard--which would have been super helpful if I still lived in Hilliard, but a nice store for the west side:
