They just posted to their website and Facebook page that Friday's release will be:

Ever Clever - Double IPA - 8.5% - To be released Friday June 30th @2pm
Double IPA Simcoe, Mosaic, Motueka, Centennial
Our wittiest DIPA showcases the repartee of simcoe, mosaic, motueka & centennial hops with notes of sharp-tongued citrus, candied strawberry, and a foxy 8.5% body to boot.

Also, if you're in Chattanooga, you might want to check out Sigler's Craft Beer or Chattanooga Wine & Spirits. I don't have any first-hand knowledge of either place, but BI shares their FB posts when they make announcements about receiving shipments of cans, which seems to be pretty regularly.

Thanks for the responses all. Looks like Ever Clever is a new one? Looking forward to trying some of their offerings.

Stopped by Siglers yesterday real quick. Pretty neat little shop, real nice staff. Homestyle was on tap. I had to get in and out though. I walked out empty handed though because most of the package was stuff I see distro of in IL, or have had recently through some trades. In retrospect, should've gotten a growler fill...

If you check the website they are pretty good about giving you a count of whats left can wise , also if you hit up Craft brewed they still have cans of hidden gem and overtones as well.

I was in town last weekend and I had 4 offerings... IMO the best were Homestyle and Sky Hopper. I also had Overtones and red handed. all 4 were very good though.

Looks like you did your research. They will definitely have cans of the newest release, amd likely something else too. They have a large gravel parking lot, and its not in a busy section of town, I wouldt worry about parking. Ive never been beer shopping in chatanooga, but I do see BI retweeting that "chatanooga wine & spirits" has their beers.

Again, appreciate the info here. I'll definitely hit the brewery up on my way back home. On my second Homestyle right now. Real solid beer. Got some at the Casual Pint in Hixson. Nice little place. Looks like our friends had plans to take me to Wine & Spirits tomorrow.

I should thank everyone for the great advice I got ahead of my visit last weekend. I really enjoyed Bearded Iris, but the people I was with also really enjoyed Southern Grist (they weren't super big on IPAs). Turns out Nashville is a more enjoyable place to spend a weekend than I had feared!

I drink just about everything BI produces, but really didn't have a good feel for how their (and Southern Grist's) NE APA and IPA offerings stand up to the New England giants that are worshipped in the BA forums and beer ratings (Alchemist, Tree House, Trillium, etc). (I actually had a chance to try Heady Topper and Focal banger a few years ago, but that was before I got into BI so hard to compare across time.) But I'm on a Cape Cod vacation and got a chance to swing by Trillium for a flat of beers for the week, yesterday. After trying Fort Point (their flagship APA) and Big Bird (brand new IIPA) last night, I'm very pleased and proud to say that I think Bearded Iris absolutely hangs with Trillium. (Homestyle and Fort Point are amazingly similar beers.) Don't know if that means BI is highly under-appreciated or Trillium is over-hyped (there were apparently lines around the block at times yesterday awaiting the release of Big Bird cans), or some of both, but they're both tremendous and I'm going to start bragging about BI and the fast-improvung beer scene in Nashville even more, now.

Other than SG's DDH 1st Anniversary (probably the best hops I've had this year), Insert Juicy Pun, and BI's Attention Please and DDH Attention Please, all of their NE style beers are a rung below all of the Trillium I've had. I haven't had a ton of Trillium, but of the half dozen or so different beers I've had, I definitely understand the hype. But it's awesome that Nashville even has something to compare. The beer scene has definitely come a long way here in the last year.

Sort of on topic, and good info for future Ba's passing through. Any good, close food recommendations by BI?

Germantown has some great restaurants. My favorites are Rolf and Daugjters and 5th and Taylor. Many more though.

I got to try 3 beers this past week. For the ones I tried my palate preferred Ever Clever > Homestyle > Overtones. I have a crowler of Sky Hopper too that won't get opened until this coming weekend. Ever Clever is really great. Nice hazy pour with a proper head, soft mouthfeel, tons of citrus and some tropical notes, bitter kick to it. Excellent beer. I also really like Homestyle. Overtones is no slouch either. All in all, great offerings from BI. I was able to grab a few 4 packs in Chattanooga, then did a quick in and out at the brewery to get some Ever Clever and Sky Hopper on the way home. Looking forward to sharing all of these with friends at a bachelor party this weekend. Thanks again for all the info!

While I can't speak on Trillium or Tree House. The BI that I have had can hold their own against anything I have had from Monkish, Bottle Logic, Noble, Abnormal, CASA, or any other NE IPA made southern California or northern California. BI is gonna be at modern times' festival of dankness and I bet after that people in Southern California will know them and be on the look out for their beers for trade. Nashville locals should be happy to have GI without all the craziness that is required to get cans.

I'm actually heading to Nashville next Friday. I see they are releasing a couple offerings. Are the releases busy, or will we be able to show up that afternoon to pick up some cans? Looking forward to trying their beers and taking some back to IL! I'm bringing some local offerings if any of you will be there on Friday afternoon. Thanks!

Thread has been quiet way too long.

Thoughts on Bottle Rocket? It's become my go to at the brewery. And idk if it's the weather or what, but the place has been packed lately. Sold out of all cans minus Bottle Rocket over the weekend.

Oh, and who wants to discuss the return of Chief of Chiefs and Chasing Rainbows 2? Yes please.
