I don't have any beef with this guy or anything. Just poking fun at the line culture and gotta have em all mentality.

And here we were thinking we would have to wait until Saturday for some entertainment in this thread....

 

1. The guy (or possibly you) is buying/trading excessive amounts of beer and posting them to Instagram, not putting back breaking amounts of work towards a good cause, so come off it with the hour/hour, week/week nonsense.

2. Whether you're doing something that's good for society, or something that's good for you and deserves a little ridicule - either way if you have thin skin and still want to post all about it, don't do it under a public Instagram account.....son.

 

Definitely him, that instagram account has a chock full of information.

This is pretty funny. It's amazing how much pride people have about spending hours on line every week, like it's an impressive badge of honor. To each their own I guess, if you enjoy it.

 

I always thought "open your wallet" was the expression you used to call people out for not being generous/charitable, not because of not buying enough beer for yourself. I guess lining up and buying beer has become an act of nobility.

 

He is truly a selfless hero to support these boutique craft breweries - one day he will be enshrined in the OH hall of hero consumers for his many hours of his life wasted line waiting and regular financial contributions.

 

Shame on me for being so curious as to check out the Lorenzobeercat IG page, but now that I did, holy shit that's the most obnoxious account I have ever seen.

Pick your poison: is it the lengthy and verbose descriptions of cat, beer, weather, line, effort, trading bros? Is it the overuse of emojis? The fact there's a miserable-looking cat in every pic? The fact that dude seems to have around 100 IPAs at any given time?

 

Hate to interrupt the fun, but if anyone could provide a stout update I'd appreciate it. Hoping they last until Wednesday!

 

Maybe he is the Robin Hood of craft beer, keeps it out of the hands of the rich behind him in line and gives to the poor.

 

I'd like to see how cheery you would be if you had to live with some tool who constantly posed you in front of his impressive beer hauls.

Also, beercanvas would like to argue its obnoxious account of hauls.

 

Suggestion: don't view if you don't like the content. Many people do this all the time with much larger social media presences, like the Kardashians. Just ignore it, no one is forcing you to check out some random dudes personal beer/cat Instagram.

Secondly, if he has a second person with him (like his wife/GF), would easily explain the accumulation. I agree posting haul after haul is totally obnoxious, however it's a free country (happy 4th!) and if he's bringing his wife to pick up more beer it's well within the rules. It's not anything everyone on here has not already done at some point or another or benefited from someone else doing it.
