    A few additional notes:
    - Rat Hole Brewing stopped brewing their own beer and will continue in the same location as a taproom
    - Bend Brewing's new outdoor space is open. The BBC space has more shade potential than Crux or GoodLife, but is smaller than both. It feels like a good-sized backyard party, and a good use of the space for the most part.
-RiverBend has begun releasing "milkshake" IPAs with fruit on draft. Urban Family Limesicle is about my only other reference, but these (peach, passion fruit, and apricot so far) compare favorably to that. I don't know how far they get distro'ed, but these interesting new beers coincide with what I perceive as an across the board improvement in RiverBend's quality.

Again, along with the folks who maintain the other "Visiting" threads, thank you.

Does the Ale Apothecary entry need an update? It's not really by appointment anymore.

And, with their new tasting room and the ability to at least get a few small pours w/o buying bottles and breaking the bank, I'd move it into Must-Hit.

Good catch, I've asked a mod to edit the caveat for AA, but will wait till the next update to reconsider a move to Must-Hit.

Staying at McMenamins at the end of August, really pumped. Was hoping Boneyards taproom would be ready, but not overly hopeful.

    Thanks for the updates too.

Was in Bend over 4th of July weekend. I was impressed with Bend Brewing's new outdoor space and Parilla food cart. Riverfront views and plenty of shade.

Hey everyone! I definitely want to check out one of the Sunriver Brewing locations when I am in the area in a few weeks (7/25 if it makes a difference). Is there anything that makes the one in Sunriver noticeably better than the one in Bend? I just want to try the beer (a flight would be perfect) and possibly grab a snack (but definitely not a full meal). I checked out their website and their Facebook pages and I can't really find a compelling reason to drive to Sunriver unless I'm missing something.

If I can get the same experience in Bend without compromising the overall experience, I can save myself some driving time... which should allow me to try more beer. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Nope. The taplists and menus vary slightly, but not enough to make one location "better" than the other. If you're staying in Sunriver, go there. Otherwise, the Bend location still gets you the full experience beer-wise.

Any bars, restaurants etc that might have Great Notion or Fort George on tap? I'll be staying in Sunriver but will be in Bend every morning to mountain bike. Also, plan on spending a day in Bend with the fam.

I have been able to find one Great Notion on tap at Broken top Bottle shop. They had the Peach Punch you in the Eye last year. But it was only a single tap that they said was usually Great Notion or Block 15.

Saweet! Thanks. I would be stoked to try some block 15 too.

Edit: just checked their website and says sticky hands is on deck, oh yeah!

    Cheers.

Great Notion is pretty rare to find outside the brewery (the Peach Punch You in the Eye we saw was from the Block 15 batch), hopefully that changes when their production brewery is complete. Fort George is more common, but I can't think of any dedicated handles they have around town. Keeping any eye on the online taplists is your best bet.

When are you visiting? Block 15 Red, White, and Boom is on tap there right now.

Sticky Hands cans are pretty common around town, including at BTBS. Also note the Westside Growler Guys (a few hundred feet from BTBS) has Sticky Hands for $13.99 a 64oz fill, or an $8 crowler.

Copy. Checked all the available tap lists listed above. Plenty of great beers available so i won't be dissappointed. pretty stoked to find so many places with current tap lists available. Drives me crazy when good beer houses don't keep their lists up to date or don't even have available.

    Cheers.

I'll be in Bend around noon, hopefully, on Sunday. While I am there a growler of sticky hands sounds like the perfect way to start the trip.

    Thanks!

Nice! We are going to be in town until Monday, looking forward to our routine trip to Sunriver Brewing, my favorite brewery in the Bend area. Enjoy your trip and I hope you enjoy some Sticky!

I saw that Monkless is opening a new taproom (assuming its part of the brewery, and not another location). Any thoughts on them?
