    Greetings, Brothers & Sisters, from the nearing end of The Bottle Backlog here at Chez Woody!

    It is getting to the point that I CAN finally see light at the end of the tunnel & it is NOT from the lamp of more bottles rushing in on top of me. It has been a long, arduous, disCANcerting adventure, but the end is near.

    One of the positives has been my opportunity to CANduct a whole buncha brewery horizontals (same brewery, many different beers & styles), but I am growing restless. I had another horizontal in mind, which I am going to kick off here shortly, but in a moment of horizontalus interruptus, I was struck with another idea for tomorrow.

    Our glorious nation was born from the casting-off of the burden of tyranny. I will be casting off the weight of bottles tomorrow, my 4th of CANuly, from 0001 that morning until 0001 on Wednesday! I will eschew bottles in CANplete favor of CANs!

    Think of it - bump the 24 Hours of LeMans, this will be the 24 Hours of The CANQuest (tm)! CANs, CANs & more CANs!

    Friends, CANmans & CANtrymen, lend me your CANs! Give me your CANs, your poor six-packs, your huddled cases of CANs yearning to be Crack!ed & Glug!ged (since CANs don't tick), at least for one day!

    There it is. Ridicule me, join me, do what you CAN, but tomorrow, I sign the Declaration of IndeCANdence for a day & I invite you to join me.

    Whoops! But, in keeping with one of the basic tenets of The CANuest (tm), emphasizing the importance of CANs, it would be "24 Hours of Le CANs".

    Like? LOVE! This hearkens back to the beginning of The CANQuest (tm), when OB Dale's was the only craft CAN option. I just disliked the Whalez Hunt & wanted to level the playing field, to widespread derision. This site used to be really brutal, believe it or don't. I still like the ocCANsional AAL and Genny Cream & I go WAY back. CAN you rejoin us tomorrow?

    I've been on my summer of cans thing. They save a ton of space in both the fridge and recycling can. And the local brewery are crowlers instead of glass. It's been sweet. It's all about space. I can fit almost triple the amount of cans that I can bottles.
