Their new online shop is open. Check out their gorgeous glassware and shirts.

Nice pics on their instagram feed: https://www.instagram.com/grimmales/

Grimm beers are usually in high demand (especially the cans). Cans have been limited to low counts per person. Grimm Artisanal Ales supply their beers at low prices (and have NOT raised their prices recently) to the distributor, who supply the retail shops, and therefore are not responsible for the final price you may encounter. They try to support the "Mom and Pop" shops that sell their beer. Hopefully, we should all support these small shops. Also available at select Whole Foods beer departments with limits to spread the wealth among your fellow BA brethren. :sunglasses:

The latest fitness craze has been the checking of this thread and Beermenus for their cans/bottles and running around town trying to get them before inventory is sold out. Needed exercise for some of our fellow beer enthusiasts. :grinning: If you miss out, you can usually find their beer on tap.

Post away and yes, Joe and Lauren (the Grimm's) monitor this thread and are great about responding to your questions and comments. Especially, if you tag them @Grimm_Artisanal_Ales. Great people, great couple, great brewers.

    Artwork

The beautiful Grimm artwork on their labels is designed by Lauren, about 50% from scratch and the rest using Gretta Johnson's (their longtime friend) artwork. Gretta did the artwork for Sugarmaker, In Mid-Air, and Candlepower.

Check out http://grettajohnson.com/ for more about this talented artist.

The artwork on the Splish can is by Joe's old band mate, and incredible artist, Brian Alfred.

The artwork on Lambo Door, Awoogah, Light Year, Skyspace, Lumen, and Blackberry Orange Pop! is by the amazing Lauren Grimm. She can do it all!

The artwork for Sumi Ink label is by Sumi Ink Club (http://sumiinkclub.com/)

Their friend Maggie (Margaux Ogden) did the Zap design (http://www.margauxogden.com/paintings)

    Can advice:

Keep cold! Drink Now! Roll can to suspend hop particles.

    Very excited for July 22nd.

For those of you taking the LIRR to Barrier, take a Long Beach train to East Rockaway station. And make sure to purchase off peak tickets since it's the weekend. There's also Long Beach express trains from Penn Station which go express to Long Beach, so do not take those trains.

Probably heading up to Ithaca during the weekend of the Barrier Brewing event, so will sadly miss it.

Looks to be a solid month, glad there is a focus on summer friendly beers. Extremely excited for the Boysen Raspberry. I adore boysenberry.

Had my first can of this batch of Awoogah yesterday. I thought it last batch, and I think it's still true, this might be my favorite Grimm IPA.

Barrier is actually getting a POS system so they will be able to process credit cards.

Passion Dome might make me feel better about missing Rainbow Dome this year.

EDIT: As an aside, anyone know if bottles are floating in the back of the cooler at your local?

I've gotten a lot of good info so figured I'd share. I went to Whole Foods CC today at around 2pm and they didn't have Awoogah in, but said they were supposed to be getting it in later today. Not sure if their regular release timing got changed due to the holiday as they're usually on for Fridays at noon. I honestly assumed it already came and went since I haven't heard much on it, but asked anyway while I was in the store. I might try and swing by Bryant Park on the way home and see if it possibly made it's way over there.

There's express trains which only stop at Penn and LB? Is this only going towards LB for summer weekends? Definitely not the case going into Penn.

Been living in LB my entire life and have been wasting my time by sitting on trains which stop at those useless places like Centre Avenue? Damnit.

I'm excited to help support Grimm and barrier after being thrown into this situation. But if I recall correctly, I believe you mentioned tekus were never really your thing. Will this be a one time Grimm teku release?

It's only during summer weekends to handle the beach going crowds. They depart Penn Station at 10:04am, 12:15pm, and 4:59pm.

There are also express trains going to Penn with a Jamaica stop. Those trains leave Long Beach at 11:15am, 3:50pm, and 6:01pm.
