I last had one around 2000. A random drunk guy literally handed me an unopened bottle in a Spokane diner.

Any Spokane BAs see it on tap last couple of days? I'm pretty sure Steel Barrel and Beerocracy have already had it, but I wasn't able to make it when they did, and tomorrow will be an excellent day to drink some.

Steady Flow posted today that they just put it on, also was listed Saturday at Nectar in Kendall Yards and at Pints.

So surprised to see that I too had a discrepancy between cans and draft. The crowler I drank did very little for me, but the cans are a totally different story. The hop profile is so much more rich and complex when compared to draft. If cans taste this way consistently, I'll be buying them nonstop.

Had a can the other night, loved the first sip but then it sort of blew out may palate and it got super pithy for me (very Treehouse like). Needs fridge time, 3-4 weeks in my books. Others I've talked to have loved it fresh so it's probably just me.

Nope, me too - not bad, just a bit jarring.

Hold up...you like Zima? Dang, that not only dates you (and I know, me too) but damns you. Damn you for liking Zima  Instead of having a Zima to pace yourself, I recommend (as I did in the 80's) that you take a piss and drink some water instead, then order another Anchor Liberty Ale

OK, just cracked my first can, Here's a play-by-play: Totally solid, opaque, light orange-dark yellow color. Some hop bitterness aroma right out of the can, that grew stronger on the pour. Bitter fades from the glass, and some non-malt sweetness from the tulip.Very light flavor, in general, with a nice hop bite at the end of the tongue. Body was light, drinkability was good. Overall, not terrible, but likely not my jam.

Caveat: long work day, several strongly flavored IPAs, after work, taster is not sober. Will retest with a fresh palate.

Any sightings around Seattle/Eastside lately? Seems to have gone dry after the first 2 deliveries.

    Hah.

It's from Japan in 2014. They never stopped making Zima over there.

Every time this thread updates for Zima and not for 3-Way, God burns an acre of hops.

I haven't seen any 3-Way cans for almost 2 weeks now. Did everyone buy it all up for the 4th of July? Are the shitlords sending it all to their Facebook trading groups?

Having the same experience here. Maybe that "we're doing more draft vs. cans than last year" thing is more dramatic than it initially sounded.

After getting home from my trip I found that I've got a few cans left in the fridge. That was a nice surprise.
