Anybody go to the Calusa Anniversary Party? How was it? My dad stopped by there to pick up a few bottles of the the Vanilla RIS for me.

Great time! The Sworn to the Dark was very good, nice body/mouthfeel, not to roasty, and a nice amount of vanilla. The anniversary glass is awesome as well. Looking forward to another year!

It was a great event. I was glad to see so many people there, have never seen it that busy. Calusa just keeps impressing me with the quality of beer they are putting out. Everything I tried yesterday was very good. I'm excited to see them grow.

I was there. Everything was fantastic. Dissonance without the additives was the highlight for me.

Going to be passing by Sarasota on Sunday. Are there still bottles of Citronious available?
Do they do crowlers or only growlers?

They put up a post last week about citronius bottles so there should still be some. They only do growlers but they bottom fill and they stay fresh for a long time. I held one for two weeks and still tasted super fresh when I cracked it.

They keep their website up to date and usually respond to question on social media.

There were still plenty of Citronious bottles when I was there on Tuesday. Also, Citronious Shake was still on tap as of yesterday. Not sure if they are still doing growlers of it though.

Just curious, how much are bottles of Cotronious and do they have other bottled NE IPA's?

Cotronious bottles were $7.99. It was the only bottled IPA they had last week. Though they did have other NE IPAs for growler fills. Got a growler of Focus, which was really good.

Supposedly they retooled Focus. It was good before. It's great now.

Stopped in and grabbed 6 bottles. Should've grabbed more. This stuff is great! Tried the shake, very good but think I prefer the regular.

I'll never pass by here again without stopping in for bottles. Do they always have Citronious bottles or are they hit or miss?

They seem to have them more than they don't. Calusa is quickly established themselves as a top notch brewery.

They sell kegs? I'll be back up there in a couple months and have an empty spot in my kegerator!

They don't sell kegs, but citronious is bottled fairly regularly. There has been talks about canning it in the very near future.

Their first bottled sour will be released pretty soon too, and it's absolutely phenomenal. Aged for over a year in oak wine barrels and currently bottle conditioning. It's going to wow a lot of folks.

I've been waiting patiently for months for a release of one of their sours. They continue to kill it at Calusa, they never disappoint. Can't wait to get my hand on the barelywine that is currently aging as well!
