What Do You Buy By The Case?

    I've never been tempted to buy a whole case of one beer, but I regret not buying a case of Great Lakes Octoberfest when it was available a few weeks ago. Next year, I am buying two cases, especially since most places offer a discount for buying a case.

    What do you buy by the case?

    Southern Tier 2XIPA. I can get it the day it's bottled...usually. I also buy cases of Great Lakes Christmas ale and sometimes Lake Erie Monster.

    Nothing, I've never really wanted that much of particular beer at once. In fact I rarely buy sixers, I'd say 90% of the beer I drink are singles or on draft. I will occasionally buy a 12 of Sam Adams Octoberfest or Celebration and I always buy the SA Winter Classics, but that's as big as it gets. I hardly ever see full cases anyway aside from the macros and large regional craft (SA, SN, New Belgium, etc.), they're usually broke up into their respective sixers or singles.

    Victory Hop Devil. Because it costs me less than $30 a case and in PA that's a great deal. And it's a great ipa.
    I'll also buy a case of Celebration when it comes out and in the past have bought cases of Tumbler.
    That's really about it, though. I really enjoyed Great Lakes Octoberfest too and will also be buying a case next year.

    Mostly just shotgun shells, toilet paper and diapers. If the dates are good, the occasional SNPA at Costco ...when I am buying toilet paper and diapers.

    If we are talking craft, the only cases I have ever bought is Heady Topper and Schlafly Pumpkin, but both were shared with friends.

    And its still all over the place! I hate turning down more BCS, cause I don't have enough cash to get that plus some other brews to drink on for the week!

    Southern Tier's Choklat, Creme Brulee, Pumking, and what's listed on BA as Schneider Weisse Tap 5 Schneider & Brooklyner Hopfen-Weisse (buy this by the case all summer whenever I come across it). The Pumking and Schneider don't last. The other beers we drink one or so every few weeks til they're gone.

    I'll buy a case of New Belgium beers occasionally (Fat Tire, 1554, Snow Day, and Ranger). Outside of that its usually only BMC for parties that I get a case of.
