I am wondering if more people will head out tonight because of Orange Creamsicle and as such, make Pineal sell out faster than it may have.

exaclty as @NickCaff pointed out.. the town appreciates the $ that rolls in but it's a win lose situation... when 900 allotments of beer are sold within what 3 hours that's a huge stressor on the location surrounding TH... say you wanted to go eat a local restaurant near TH and didn't know shit about beer... you roll up to area to eat at your reservation time at xx restaurant and there is nowhere in sight to park.. the area is not set to handle something that has gotten so popular... to combat that TH has had to kind of not give many advanced details about releases. if they gave 3 days notice about every shake release imagine how many people would be there

i think TH tries to work with the town as much as possible, jean is on the township committee or board etc so that a happy medium can be met but with anything in demand it becomes harder and harder... Jean/Co have invested heavily in the Ardmore area, but the stress that is now on the facilities is shitty... there isn't room for 900 folks to be crowded around TH area on any given day... Obviously surrounding businesses know their peak times and Friday/Saturday evenings are peak times for a lot of places surrounding TH so you don't see releases at those times anymore... Wednesdays seemed to be a happy middle ground for awhile and still today but yeah Sunday at noon.. like the old school cafe release days was a great fit... hardly anything is open yet nor is that part of town a destination for others on Sunday morning.. sans a few who go to brunch maybe at some of the local jaunts

To me it seems we may see more shakes for growlers again for the summer as tons of people are off and they know the lines will be insane for cans so growlers at least may deter some bc ya know... can't get my 128oz in 8 cans.. have to either get 4 32oz growlers or 2 64oz growlers and that's no fun to trade/sell/razzle etc.

Still they did that for bomb pop shake or whatever and the fucker sold out in what 4 hrs? So if this orange shake is doubled and released at the ferm and released at 12 pm.. how long does it last 9pm? Will it make it till tomorrow?

If jean had a crystal ball and could see the future would have he invested so heavily in Ardmore? I doubt it....

Can someone post the growler price. That way we can do the math and see how much more they'll make on growlers vs cans. Average single milkshake 24$ per four pack. 128 oz of cans is 48$.

How much does four 32 growlers (128 oz) run? ~ 80$ (that's at a guess of 20$ per growlers and I'm guessing it's more than that) so per customer that's an extra 32$ Plus no cost for cans.

32oz Orange Creamsicle is still $18. $30 for 64oz. Also this is the shortest line in recent memory. Not even past the Ferm lot.

That would be awesome if they released cans of Orange Creamsicle Milkshake today along with the Pineal without even announcing it.

The waves of hate and the waves of gratitude...I wonder which would overpower the other...

All the shakebros in the growler line right now, for example, would be peeeeesed.

I was there for lunch. My guess is that Pineal is the only new beer today. There are cans of Trendler Pilsner there as well (canned 7/4/17).

    Cheers!

I was there for a late lunch and the beer menu stated the Orange Creamsicle was draft only. When I left (around 2:45) there was a line of about 20 folks waiting to get their growlers filled (I presume for Orange Creamsicle).

    Cheers!

Took 3 minutes to get cans today. New record! Oh well, more for those of us that love Pineal (myself included).

I had 2 8oz beers, got Ferm cans, drove over to General Store and picked up some Hop Hands and Trendler in 40 minutes. No complaints here.

Walked in at 6:00 for Pineal cans, no line and multiple pallets. Growler line is still incredibly long. Having some dinner and really enjoying this Milkshake as I type.

I hope their plan is to desensitize people to pineal, AC and hop hands. The line thing can still be a thing for that population but those are the only three THands beers I need.

I would really be happy if they could nail like 5 regular cans and have them available regularly and then have the occasional crazy release. It is nice not dealing with the line crazyness.

sure go to the general store and take your pick of the ones all released a month ago.. i don't think one should expect mass amount of bottles anymore till they burn through what they already have released.... sans maybe the mentioned "Magnum" program and something with Para/Emptiness in the name of the bottle, i believe most bottles will now last a long time when they release them... : /

I wouldn't be surprised to see some bottles again soon. Sounds like the dispensary is starting to produce product now. People really have no idea what they are missing.... although, it is nice to be able to walk in and pick up amazing bottles with no wait.

At lunch today I had a Berliner Weisse which was fermented in oak at the dispensary. I enjoyed drinking that beer.

    Cheers!
