Poll: Which image hosting site do you use?

When I copy link and paste the URL in the BA Image it just has the [Image] icon in my post.

 

I had that experience at first but it's now working for me. Not sure why, but I also noticed that if I do not just lightly touch the button it doesn't work. Is this after you upload to your gallery?

 

Yes. But I will try again after work and try the light touch.

 

Imjur, if I can get it to work anyone can,,,,, anyone. Photo bucket about made my head explode.

 

Same here. I'm not tech savvy. Wish I could better explain it.

 

Once you upload pic to app, just light hold on your picture (either by "view post" if you just did (green bar towards bottom), or go to your pictures (little head and shoulders silhouette in lower right corner) and use the gray "copy link" tab that pops up

 

Ya. That’s why I'm still in the Trial and Error phase after the Photobucket cataclysm…It works, but it's no easy task/takes some getting used to/quite monotonous

 

The copy link is what will not work for me. It ends up as an [Image] icon when I post, not the actual image. I am going to try more later when I get home from work. Buck89 said it did not work at first for him either, but then started working.

 

Don't tap the picture. That will kind of zoom in on/higlight it and bring up the upload arrow at the bottom. If you are using the "copy link" from there it won't work. That's what I did initially too until @cjgiant told me how to Imgur

 

Whenever I try this on my iPhone (by logging in via my password protection app), it just opens a generic Yahoo (which owns Flickr) page. When I try to go to the Flickr site from there I just getted kicked back to the Flickr app.

 

OK, thanks to suggestions above and some digging on my own I'm FINALLY able to link to images on Flickr using my iPhone. Here's how:

1. Log onto the Flickr website on your phone (DO NOT use the Flickr app)
2. Select the photo you want to upload
3. Tap the upload icon (box with arrow pointing up) at the bottom right of your phone's screen
4. On the next screen, swipe left through the gray icons and select "Request Desktop Site"
5. Once there, tap the download icon (down arrow with a line beneath) below the image
6. On the next page, choose the size image you want (medium or large are adequate)
7. Press on the image and select "Save Image". This will give you the link you can paste into BA

Maybe not the quickest method, but it works.

 

Just backing up an already posted statement- Yes, Imgur postings are loading slower on BA pages than other pictures.

Yea, I use it on my phone, but when I have my Chrome Book or Win Desk top I prefer Google Photos (by a long shot).

 

I post images on FB and when I use my laptop, all I have to do is click on my pic in FB, right click, click on copy image. Then I just right click in a thread on BA and click paste. Like this:

 

Nice pic. Did you edit that or is it untouched? What I like about GP is the editing is super easy with super nice results. And.... I know, I know, but I have taken a stand and am one of the 17 people in the US that are not on Facebook. I'm not a Luddite, I just figured from everything I know that its like a part time job. Anything of note in what would be my Facebook circle my wife tells me anyways.

 

Untouched. My new mobile has an awesome camera.

 

Works fine on my laptop. Still can't get it too work from the Imgur app on my iPhone, or from the desktop view using chrome on my phone.
