There was a guy on Saturday who was filling water cups with FOMO to take off premises with him. Maybe he's still got some to share.

Seriously, and what was he going to do with? Do people buy beer like that? I wouldn't pay more than $1.00 for a day old half pour. I know carbonation isn't a big thing for stouts, but some carb is needed and oxidation would have to start happening.

 

LMAO, dude was probably filling cups to funnel them into a growler. Enjoy the oxidized and flat beer, brotha!

 

I was there over the weekend and holy hell was it busy. I thought both FO and NC were absolutely outstanding. FOMO was good but no where near what FS was. Thanks to the BL staff for dealing with all the knuckleheads.

 

I'm using/looking at the IPhone app ... under the Verified Venues, your list ... still shows 7/15 as the update and I've refreshed it multiple times. Only thing I can think of is the "first" screen ... that's the one that says updated 7/15, but when I click the Full Menu button there is no "last updated" notation so maybe it's the Full Menu that syncs to what you show on your website? Either way confusing by Untappd because the first screen and only screen with an update date shows 7/15.

If you'd pay anything for or even accept a day old pour of any beer from an orange plastic cup then you are why people behave like that in the first place. I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and hope you were kidding.

 

Wasn't some guy selling beer out of a vile? Either from last years FO release or maybe a variant of BT not sure but I recall a vile.

 

I'd assume a beer out of a vial would be pretty vile.

 

Someone tried to auction a vial of Fundamental Forces and when they got called out they said it was a "social experiment". It was really weird.

Anyone there tonight that can comment on the crowd size? Was thinking about going tonight to relax and get some pours, without the sweat of 500 neckbeards lingering in the air.

 

there's no line for a bottle pick up, but the line is out the door for pours. There is no satellite bar operating. The big three is still pouring 8:30

 

No line for the bathroom though!

 

A dollar for 3oz of FOMO is less than he paid for the pour originally. So it wouldn't be a wise business venture for this guy. Having said that, I have had day old Black Tuesday and other big stouts, and they still do taste good. So yes, I would be will to try day old FOMO or any other big beer, but I ain't paying top dollar, or even market prices.

 

So you'd pay a neckbeard who's likely a total stranger to try a sample of day old beer out of a plastic cup? Ok well then I'll reiterate, people like you are why others will collect samples of beer and attempt to smuggle them out of breweries to sell. Carry on...

 

man if some breweries only knew how important social media and being up to date was their business would sky rocket. up here there are a few new breweries that would be making serious damage if they picked one social media and updated it constantly...
