My only issue with the burger at FR (the burger is the first thing I try at almost every brewpub that offers one) is that it has giardiniera on it. It's a tasty burger, but one that is a little more "situational" for me than normal.

Will have to have my wife try the mussels, since the Corridor ones didn't blow her away.

Yeah, the burger is all I've had there thus far, and it requires some "customization" on my part. There are only 4 items in the large (i.e. entrée) section of the menu...that's not much. Granted, some of the small items, such as mussels, can be a meal for one, but I don't care for a whole meal of mussels myself.

The snacks all look solid and tasty as well, but again...those aren't enough to have a meal there (at least not for me).

Haven't tried PR. I'll have to swing by.

I was prepared to become a Garfields regular (and I still drop entirely too much money there). But I don't like it. Or, rather, their customer service is terribly inconsistent.

For example, I've emailed them and called them about wine, and have gotten no information back (or false information). I've asked about beer, and been told "I dunno. Ask the beer guy. I dunno when he'll be around." Etc. On the flip side, I did have them produce a random, open, expensive bottle of liquor from the back and pour me some for no apparent reason, so not all bad.

Back on topic, I send a coworker to FR and he was very impressed with the beer, the food, and the space. They're definitely becoming a spot inconsistently recommend to people for a good experience.

I'd definitely second this. I like what's on the menu, but the wife and I don't frequent for meals because of the lack of variety & veg. options for her.

As long as the Schnitzel stays, that is all that matters. That shit is money!!!!!

Agreed. A tad over priced IMO too.

Y'all crazy. I guess as far the veg options go, maybe they need to ramp it up... but I love the food menu.

Also, Radio Swan is popping up around town now. Go crazy.

I think they could add a few more options, but the food they currently have is actually great.

I think knowing the quality of food, where I'm located, and the unique options, FOR ME, the prices are quite reasonable.

Just to be clear, since I originally brought up the food aspect...I was saying nothing in regards to the quality of their food. It's the more options thing that I think needs working on.

As of now, the only main dish I'll really order is the burger, and I generally enjoy my homemade burgers more than any I ever have at a restaurant (save for a select few). And they also violate a very important rule I have...don't put bread & butter pickles on a burger. I am intrigued by the schnitzel, though.

The snitzel really should be on 3 buns, not 1- it's that big. Highly recommend. Looking at the lunch menu, does it really say a 1/2 grilled cheese sandwich is $10? And is that half a sandwich or they only grill half the cheese?

I do not know how one has such an absurd rule, but to each their own haha

I would like there to be more burger topping options, that is for sure.

I do not know how one would ever come up with something so absurd as a bread & butter pickle when one of the most divine things to eat is a dill pickle. I should note that dill pickles are one of my favorite foods, in case that didn't just become obvious. #Dillpickle4life

So, people are seeing Radio Swan cans hit retail already? I thought they weren't supposed to hit until next week. I may have to keep my eyes peeled for some since I missed out on the release.

Also, a fan of Dill Pickle. But think of the Dill Pickle as an IPA. Yummm so delicious, don't change it. Then all of a sudden someone made a NE IPA (bread & butter pickle). Where have you been all my life.

I'd be ok paying more per ounce of burger or schnitzel if they came in smaller formats, like a 3pk of sliders.

I'm a gigantic dill fan (I only eat Claussen and Vienna Beef dill pickles at home), so I agree with the heart of your statement, but find that I actually like something slightly sweeter in a lot of burgers (to balance the rest).

However, your love of dill pickles definitely helps fix your post.

Aight, hate to break up the great pickle debate going on here but I have a new beer announcement....

    Industry Night - Negroni-inspired beer 7.2%
Brewed with Rhubarb root, juniper, wormwood, sweet & sour orange peels, cardamon, rosemary, lavender, cinnamon and chamomile.

Pleasant punch aroma. Sweet tapestry of citrus fruit and bitter herb.
Is this beer? Yes. Yes it is.

Served in a rocks glass with an orange peel.

Staff has been attacking this beer since we moved it to the brite tank.

    Edit:
And yes, I know Pipeworks did it first. (fuckers) but I will say ours was in the tank before we found out about theirs

Yes, but who did it on draft at a brewpub first? Point FR.
