I might head over tomorrow and visit Sourland Spirits as well. I'll avoid the mess that might be today.

 

Parking is limited, only about 10 or spots directly in front of Troon. There is an area next to it that is for valet, so I'm not sure if they would allow people to park there or not.

Around the corner, closer to the restaurant is parking that is posted 15 minutes (I believe).

I'm hoping that this isn't a shit show for Alex as the property (and main revenue source) is a restaurant. I'm afraid if there are going to be lines/drinking in line/etc. it's going to really ruin what he has been building over the last few months.

I'm local and go every weekend for growler fills, but won't be going tonight due to a concert in the city, but I'm hopeful that it will still be on for growlers tomorrow. It seems that FOMO is strong with this release, which is a testament to what Alex has been putting out.

 

No i was speaking generally. I'm sure youve heard about it, cause I've seen you around on the forums but they do have hours that arent Friday. Im sorry if you took it the wrong way but you cant honestly disagree that plenty more people will show up cause its a crowler now as opposed to them just releasing it as growler fills right? Congrats on the day off. ill take my chances on a measly growler fill

 

I think it'll be a bigger turnout, I don't think it will be a shit show.

 

A shitshow would probably be 20 cars showing up before at opening...that seems likely to happen. Already have several confirmed just from this thread.

I just saw on IG that somebody is asking how early you have to get there to be guaranteed cans. I think people see the crowlers and just assume cans. I'm actually curious how this will all play out.

 

Dude, this will be the biggest turn out ever at Troon based on social media. There are maaaaybe 20 parking spots? No street parking, and parking in town is about 1/4 to 1/2 mile away. Oh and the valets will be active parking cars in the same vicinity because Friday is a big diner night at Brickfarm. Also the line will move with the speed of a single ipad check out system that is very persnickity regarding actually reading cards. Saying this will be a shit show is likely warrented. You asked for the lay of the land, there it is.

 

I saw that too and chuckled a little. Definitely interesting to see how it all ends up. As this is what Alex is transitioning too so hopefully everything runs smoothly. I trust I'll end up with beer but worst case scenario, its only beer, they'll always be more of it.

 

Worst case scenario for me is that I'll drink it at the Tavern while eating there. I try to swing by there as much as I can since past beers spend much longer on tap there then for growler fills. First world problems!

 

Saw a dude in IG saying he's dropping a chair at 3:30 then going in to eat until 5. Now the stupidity starts. Smh.

 

It's over guys. Trade bros are coming in from all over the tri-state. We have officially lost our precious...

 

If it was closer I would drive there simply to take his chair.

 

I live in Lawrenceville and I just popped over now. All the parking spots in the back are full as of now. Saw 5 people getting set up with chairs and coolers as I was parking. Only 4 people in the bar.

 

Soooooo, where do we park lol.

 

Last minute but if anyone was coming from brick area and wanted to shoot up and hit the bar first I'm up for some socialization.
