I've moved out to the back porch where it is a couple degrees cooler than inside, but the bugs will likely force me back in...so far, I'm dealing...good thing I'm drinking Doom:



Tomorrow Mrs. Z wants to explore Millerton (NY?) which we drove thru this morning...quaint (I'm reading expensive shopping) with highly rated restaurants; a place where city folk escape to unwind and indulge on the week end...I'll have cold beer in the RV, so it's all good. Cheers!

Good evening, all! It's been a while since I've tried Alaskan Amber, so I thought I'd revisit it now that we get some limited distro here. This is much better than I remember. Nicely balanced and smooth, with a spicy hop bite and some mild long-lasting bitterness. Paired with pita chips and an assortment of artisan cheeses. (And a New York strip steak, grilled rare. Because I'm out of Hot Pockets at the moment.)

A long day here is working 12 hours unexpectedly, getting a flat tire on the way home thanks to a big ass pothole, having to tell 4 people that you don't feel like giving them money and then missing the bus.

Which is still a hell of a lot better of a day than in most parts of the world. So what I'm saying is...something or other.

 

I'm about 95 miles north of Detroit. A year ago, before my daughter was born, I'd def meet up with you down there. Now I'm living that dad life. But if you come up closer to the Tri-City area then we could def get together for some brews. I'm off that weekend too!
