I must clarify that I continued to attempt purchase (refresh) up until around 10:45 am. I figured maybe the process hadn't been fully released. I even changed the system generated password along with billing information (address only).

So again, either a glitch on my end or the membership sold out extremely fast.

Sucks indeed, but as they say....."Its only beer" Yea right :slight_frown:

My wife and I each got one of the last ones! Thankfully a buddy texted me to check our emails. Close call.

LOL; was in the shopping cart within a minute of getting the e-mail.. was typing in my credit card when someone asked me a question at work which turned into an hour long meeting, got back to my desk and no bueno.

    Oh well.

Thanks to everyone. Sorry to the folks who missed out. I was 100% wrong about how fast it would fill up. I'm really excited to share the beers with everyone, whether they made the bottle membership scramble or not. There will be beers on draught at a few places (Masonry, Bottleworks, hopefully Slow Boat, etc) in the winter, and there will be bottles in 2018 that I am going to make sure there are enough of to go past the bottle club. I have two alsatian riesling foudres coming in August, and those beers will take a while, but there should be enough to see distribution next spring/summer. I'm a small operation by choice, but I'll do what I can to make sure people can get the beer.

Re vinespring, they handle bottle clubs for The Bruery and a ton of wineries. The ui is janky but their web security is solid.

Yeah not shitting on your choice of them, because it was a painless setup, but I do this professionally and stumbled on a bunch of pretty common issues. I reported it to them so hopefully they'll be receptive.

Very excited to come hangout and drink beer. Congrats on everything accomplished thus far!

What were the problems people had with the vinespring site? I didn't have any trouble signing up or purchasing an Oakworks membership. It was super smooth and I can't think of any accessibility issues.

Its frustrating to know the stillill household has two and that he continues to brag in a typical yet more subtle fashion lol.

I'd love to get stoned and drink cuvee de jonquilles, I'll bring a bottle of Suarez

Indeed you were, and, while I'm reluctant to do so, I must confess I had a haiku pillorying your naïveté/humility all queued up a week ago, but my (internal) editors pulled it at the last second. You may be a great brewer and one utterly defined by your personal passion and vision, but if you thought sign-ups for this would remain open for a few weeks, in this huge and voracious market, given your pedigree and all the quality, convenience, and experience you had to offer with this membership, you are a fool...

Still, I did my part by never intending, or trying to sign up, so I wonder if the offer of a mea culpa beer still stands? I'm a cheap date, and I don't even need the Mary Jane. You can keep your stash in reserve for the others who'd appreciate it better...

Whether he ever speaks truthfully or not, he's not worth believing, or minding about, at this point. Take him in stride, silently, if you haven't already ignored him...

    Why be frustrated?
    Ignore him, and deny him
    What he wants the most.

    Then get stoned and drink
    Cuvee de Jonquilles with much
    Better company.

I haven't met you Kingsley, but I have met plenty of others that are probably on herein various lines.
And LOL at distra giving me a lecture on subtlety. The guy that worked in "I will be traveling to Morocco" in a dozen posts that had nothing to do with traveling or morocco.

If anyone here wants to split their membership with a straggler who didn't sign up in time send me a DM.

Apologies to @paysse in advance if this isn't allowed, just lmk and I will delete this post.

If people want to split a membership all I've asked is to designate one person as the contact to make things easier on my end, but I back folks doing that 100%.

I wouldn't have tried half the beers I have had the chance to if it weren't for generous friends and generous strangers, and friends who put in time and effort to trade for cool shit that wasn't available locally.

The original Floodland email mentions, depending on yield, that members are likely to receive 2x of 5 different beers. If that's the case, I'm happy to split/share my second bottles of the five with those that missed out on membership.

Beer is nothing if not for sharing.

I'm splitting my bottles with my mom. She loves sour beers but would never sign up on her own.
