I will have to drink his dose of coffee.
I even have a coffee glass to go with.
This beer is such a good value! And I love it.

Another from the fridge aimed at my wife's "crafty" drinking friends.

I'm surprised that I'm a plus rDev on this. There's no flaws, it's just not very flavorful. I had proper glassware and after a 14 hour nightshift, it works. Still looking for the first Oktoberfest beer to show up locally. I foresee a Marzen bender when all these nightshifts are over. Drink well today Advocates

 

Drinking some old (2016) Brunch on the patio after walking the dogs. I'm happy to report that it's tasting really good and doesn't seem to have changed much, if any since I reviewed it almost a year ago. It's very reminiscent of a barrel aged barleywine.

My ass is beat from a four mile run on Saturday and a 50th birthday party for a friend that included drinking some big beers in the sun. It's a much cooler and less humid day here with a north wind off the lake. I really need to mow my lawn later thanks to all the recent rain. I was absent from the thread yesterday except for a quick post in NBS and just noticed the new emoticons. They seem a little soft in appearance for these aging eyes? I'm going to enjoy the sounds of the bullfrogs and birds as I wait for the grass to dry. Have yourselves a great week!

 

Going through these Omnipollo beers. This is the 4th ive had from them. Blueberry cheesecake imperial stout 11%. The nose on this beer is incredible! Its like nothing ive ever smelt in beer. It literally smells like a blueberry cheesecake. It tastes like thick chocolatey blueberries, but still has those roasty imperial stout characteristics. Its one of those beers where you keep asking yourself how the hell they made this work so well.

Good morning, BAs! Starting out this about-to-be-stormy Monday with some Other Half. Just did a 10k loop, so need to take advantage of that metabolic boost while it lasts!

 

I believe there's a time and place for every beer and it's time to make hay!

 

Took yesterday off from beer, as my brother and I destroyed a lot of liver and brain cells Saturday night. First swim lessons of the summer were this morning, off to the library shortly, but time for a little coffee now. Have a good Monday, all!

 

Had that on tap at the release party for the collaboration they did with Hair of the Dog. Pretty amazing beer.

 

St. Fuellien saison -this is a bit flatter and sweeter than I remember. Perhaps my beer memory is failing. What could cause that?

 

I always like the hop flavor in Founders beers. This one hit the spot right now.
