I can't remember where, but they said in an interview recently that they aren't going to drastically increase production.

The new taproom is really just correcting the problem of their current space being far too small.

I know you're joking with the half can bit but I'd honestly be pretty happy if some of the higher gravity offerings were in 12oz cans instead of pints. I feel like I rarely want to drink a whole pint of a 10+% beer in one sitting. I'm pretty sure I didn't finish at least one or two cans of 3rd Anniversary for this reason, even though it was really good.

But alas the pounder cans are more 'hype' so I don't expect this trend to die anytime soon.

I like to consider myself as falling in the middle. Since it takes me approx 3 hours (not including waiting in line) round trip to and from OH, I tend to buy around 4-6 4-packs total (also depends on the beer or whats left) so I don't have to go to a brewery every other week. I also give cans away. I probably go to OH once every 5-6 weeks and only when I hear the line is short around 10am.

Thanks, I can likely make it there Saturday but ideally wouldn't spend my entire day in line. Maybe later in the day, dont things usually die down at some point? ie. no line

Bud's Life, also available from @otherhalfnyc in Brooklyn at their local time of 10am EDT, featuring some of our favourite hops - Amarillo, Mosaic, and Chinook.

There's usually a narrow window of time where you can stroll up with a minimal line (or none at all) and grab whatever you want. However, this isn't guaranteed and is dependent upon a lot of variables. Your best bet is to show up early and get out early if you're dead-set on getting beer.

Yes, when they are sold out of cans. But really it depends on the offerings. Potentially this is one of those weeks where people line up from 6-7AM . So, if you want to get all 3 cans then plan to be there by 9 and you should get out by 12.

Like I said earlier, if you are a local looking to get beer to drink go on Tues (or later on Sat) and get Growlers. I mean there are downsides but you arent waking up at 8 am and standing in line for 4 hours. Can wise what they are doing fine, I mean they could drop can allotments but they probably wont.

Cloudwater posted that they would be releasing Imaginary Greenscapes at Cloudwater, and that Bud's Life, an internet collaboration, would be released at both breweries this Saturday.

I probably occupy the middle ground here but won't bother expressing what are sure to be unpopular opinions. I'd imagine it'd be like John McClane walking into Harlem with his sandwich board sign at the beginning of Die Hard with a Vengeance.

Super excited to try Enigma. I don't think I've had anything with enigma hops before.
