    For me, I would never claim to love Malort, but the horribleness of it was built up so much that when I finally had it, it was nowhere near as bad as I expected, thus I don't mind it? (if that makes sense?)

    Yup, that's exactly how I feel. "Oh my god dude, try a shot of Malort. It's so fucking disgusting."

    *takes shot*

    "...It's a pretty standard low abv liquor with a bitter herb aftertaste. We're not talking 190 proof everclear, here..."

    My experience with Malort is always, "I didn't really enjoy that, but whatever, alcohol."

    However, that's how I feel after basically every shot of hard liquor, including spirits is l do like.

    Malort isn't the worst thing in the world, but I can't understand why anyone would willfully order it.

    The problem, for me, with Malort is that it sinks into your tongue and gives you a hellish aftertaste. It's just a not great shot at first, but if you don't chase it, it sinks in and gets worse and worse

    Was able to grab the last Radio Swan can from Capones a few nights ago and it was the first FR beer I've tried and it was very impressive!

    So hard to keep track on local stuff anymore that I've abandoned seeking out things from out of state. The local scene is just too much now but that ain't a bad thing at all!! Pick and choose your poison I say!

    hi @BJP which hazy beers are still on tap at Forbidden Root right now? Radio Swan and Atomic Child both still on tap? Have some friends in town visiting and planning to take them to Forbidden Root tomorrow evening. Thanks in advance!

    Their website shows only RS is on. I've found that typically their website is pretty up to date.

    "Just RS" is doing a disservice to how dope Radio Swan is. I feel like I like it more each time I have it.

    Lol. Yeah. I adore that beer. It's different enough that it makes most other NEIPAs seem rather one-noted.

    Also, Atomic Child is on now. There was a tech issue over the weekend.

    Was in Forbidden Root yesterday, Radio Swan and Atomic Child both on tap and both are amazing.
    Also, I didn't realize this, but on Mondays they have a 15 dollar pick any Forbidden Root Beer, Burger, and a shot of bourbon?
    So a Radio Swan, burger, and bourbon for 15 bucks seems like a no brainer.

    Also that Industry Night negroni beer is wild.

    Corridor does this on Mondays as well as a few different craft beer places around the city. I've tried doing 1-2 a month as it really is a great deal.
