Currently drinking an Oops! I Mangoed My Pants side-by-side with a can of Power Source. Mangoed gets the win by a landslide. So much more balanced and easy-drinking. Best mango IPA I've ever had.

I'm going to disagree with you there. I went back and looked at my ratings and I had SC higher. I had oops mango on tap today and I could barely get any mango out of it. Maybe they poured the wrong one but if not then Power Source is a much better mango IPA

I can see both points. Finally tried Oops and already had PS. Oops is way more balanced, PS hits one over the head with mango from start to finish. I love mango but can see that having an IPA with a more subdued mango presence can be seen as the better beer.

To be honest, I think I like Oops! I Mangoed My Pants for that exact reason.

That's fair. I love mango and the more the better. PS is super juicy and I love it. That being said both are terrific.

On a side note, I got there at 3 and they were sold out of Nelson and mango cans. I'm giving up on going there on weekend releases. It's such a pain to get there from the east end south shore.

Or older people who drink beer. My father is 70 , went today at 815 and I can guarantee puts away more craft beer than 90% of that line.

If there is one place where I've seen the older generation partaking in the craft beer scene its got to be SC. Most likely has to due with the demographics of the surrounding area.

...or maybe getting old doesn't mean that you stop liking the best stuff available? Just a theory...

Did they sell out of everything?

How's this batch of Oops Nelson tasting? The last one completely blew my mind and was one of the best Nelson-hopped beers I've ever had.

Tasting just as good as the first batch. I had all of the variants as well as Galaxy Cutting Tiles and Farnsworth Street yesterday. Nelsoned was the unanimous favorite amongst everyone I was with.

Also, to answer @BoardwalkBock 's question: 10 cases of regular at opening today.

Agreed. Had one yesterday afternoon and just so good. Though I have not had PS, so I can't compare there.

I have found that for Sunday releases, getting there between 10am and 10:30 is just fine to ensure you lock in cans of everything they're releasing. I got there at 10am yesterday. Line was wrapped around corner of Scudder and Woodbine (as normal for that time), about half way down to Main St. And when I got to paying (11:15), full allotments of each were still available. Plus only 25-30 more people left to go in line behind me.

The only times I've had it cut back (three 4-pks instead of four) has been for the ONE releases. But in most instances of Sunday drops, if you can get there by 11:30, you're likely walking away with all of the releases for that day. Though by noon, they're usually running very low on the most popular release for the day.

Anyone know if there are still cans? Thinking about making the trek today at lunch.

I would venture to say no. There were only 10 cases left at opening yesterday.

That's what I figured, but was wondering if anyone knew definitively.

I met a trade partner that lives close to sand city through Instagram. I've been trading with him for a little while now and let me tell you i love Sand City beers! My favorite beer this year to date is oops i nelson'd my pants! I even made a trip up that way and bypassed other half for sand city! Cheers
