Wondering if there will be any crowers available today after the issues last week, or if hell go back to growler fills until kinks are worked out?

Always a mystery of when and where Alex posts the weekend releases. Adds to the fun of the place.

And just like that the crowlers are losing their FOMO factor.

Got there at 515. Probably 15 people in front of me. Didn't take that long.

Yup, I got there at like 4:50 and there was maybe 20 people in front of me like you said. Got my crowlers quickly and then had a flight and a bite to eat at the Tavern.

    But are they?

On offer were three beers, two of which are compromised. That means 25 people drove out to Hopewell for the opening for one beer (of which, I believe, they only knew the name of and not a style description).
And the line must have been steady if @tynian16 had 15 in front of him 15 minutes after they opened.

I don't have Facebook. The Insta post came in at 20.00. The website was updated (name of beer alone) early this afternoon. I don't know if there is another outlet used to post description of the new beer prior to opening. If there isn't, seems to me people are still worried about missing out on great beer from Troon.

if he cans 300 crowlers and it takes 2-3 weeks to sell thru them, I can't imagine that will be good for the beer quality inside to those who buy on week 2 or 3.. crowlers are no better at preserving beer than a glass growler

But it also decreases the likelihood of these line bros to come in and guarantee that some of us will never make it to Troon for a while. Those crowlers will sell.

Anyone try Two birds one stone? Thinking of heading over early evening if crowlers are still there.

I hope he does Mental Kaleidoscope again, it's so damn good. Drinking it now, held up very well in the glass too.

Any cans left? Also is the brick tavern kid friendly for lunch? Thanks.

Was only there once. The place is borderline upscale. They don't have a kids menu, Yelp says not kid friendly. All signs point to no, but may be a judgement call if your kids are well behaved/mature.

My 1.5 y.o. likes to throw food on the floor, she will not be seeing BFT anytime soon. Miller's Ale house is more her speed.

I think that's just the way your child is expressing their opinion that the Big Red is the greatest sandwich ever.

Also had Bumf thanks to @tynian16 and if you told me it was a northeast ipa I would have totally believed it.

How has this glorious sandwich escaped me? I'll have to order her one next time....
She can wash it down with Magic Hat #9 or a Rebel IPA.

Might hit Troon later. I'll report back on the current state of affairs.

The Big Red is good but if you really want to indulge go for the 2,500 calorie Zinger Mountain Melt next time you are there. As far as beer, I find the Woodbridge AH has a better selection than the Paramus location in NJ.
