I have been gathering folks for a Stanley Cup Playoff BIF the last few years with some really good folks, but I may have been bamboozled this year, as @Dereksbrew agreed to participate and send 110 oz. of 90+ or trending that way but not officially rated local beer if he lost. He was about the fourth person in and selected the Rangers and Oilers (only 8 players). He did mention he was buying a house as a reason why his response for picking was a bit slow, but otherwise did not balk. Fast forward to the reason for the thread; he lost, and was supposed to ship to @jpatag66 but has been absent from not only the BIF, but the site altogether for a little over 2 months. As always, life comes before beer, and I hope nothing bad happened, but if nothing disruptive took place, I feel it prudent that he be labeled as a bad trader until he can answer for his disappearance act.
He does have one trader on record here but they haven't been on BA in some time either. Could always send that trader a PM to see if they have a number. With luck they might see your message relatively soon. Worth a shot imo. Good luck.
That's a solid point. I probably got complacent from dealing with so many good traders and bif folks. Of course, the cynic in me thinks that gathering alternative methods of contact wouldn't make much difference. I feel like one would tend to remember that they are part of a bif and either live up to it or ignore all communication, regardless of how contact was made. Sadly, im probably going to have to restrict entries to folks with a good history. Sucks for hockey bif's since there's a limited number of fans, seemingly. After I get a few other boxes off, I'll make it whole - maybe a Labor Day box!
Life does get in the way....for all of us at one time or another. Responsibilities never go away though...just sayin'. He's been tagged as a bad trader. @Todd Can we retire @Dereksbrew account. They have not been on the site in almost 4 months. Plenty of opportunities to make this right. They have also been tagged multiple times making them aware of this thread.
