@Babbo's article from a couple weeks ago. http://www.spokane7.com/blog/2017/jul/20/millwood-brewing-looks-future-past/ Along with Bottles, this could make Millwood a beer destination.
Can't wait until this gets open. Millwood is perfect for a brewpub. Lots of people who can walk to it which are the best locations.
That's pretty interesting. I like the upper seating area and the focus on letting food trucks come in. The tap rooms with offsite food just seem to be more my type of place. Was the saddest part about a formerly small brewery in Spokane that recently moved and turned into large cookie cutter all-in-one place. You just don't get the variety in eats.
I have now been several times. It has become an after work place for some I work with. The beer so far, needs some time and is not great. The tap room is very nice though. The windows don't let you see to the railroad from the balcony but you can see down into the small brewery they have. Lots of vintage beer signage on the walls in there. They have a really cool bar top that looks like a split log top with a large crack running down the center which is filled with river rock and then the whole thing was covered in resin. Also I am always happy when places have food trucks, they usually do at least Friday and Saturday. I will give it time before I make any sort of recommendation. I'm sure the beer will get better over time. Now I'm anxious for Bottles to move into their new location, a bit closer to MBC.
Bottles is moving? I hadn't heard this. Fwiw I was going to hit MBC Friday afternoon but ran out of time. I'll be checking it out soon.
Apparently a bigger space down by the railroad tracks, across from MBC. Next to the Free Masons I believe Josh said. Cue the conspiracy theories
