If I recall the timeline from the last few years they have posted the general list first around a week from the festival and the rare beer list a couple days before.

First time at the festival and I'm doing the rare beer ticket. Any bottle shares the night of or the night before? It would be really cool to meet up with some cool people!

 

I did rare beer last year, by the time I got back to hotel beer was coming out of my ears, couldn't imagine doing a bottle share after the event. Between the rare beer and access to the main part of festival, you will have more beer than you know what to do with.

Consider the event itself one big share with beer provided by the breweries themselves.

 

Plus there is the Friday night Brewers Reception if you are looking for something the night before.

 

Eh, just go to Churchill's.

Anyone see the festival map posted anywhere?

 

Have not seen it posted. I don't recall seeing it posted in the past except for maybe morning of and that was when I was standing around at Lost Abbey eating breakfasts and now brunches.

I like to think that I use it each year, but really only as I am standing in the sea of ppl waiting to be let in and then it disappears into my pocket, never to be looked at again.....unless I can't find the beer cheese stand.

 

I can't speak to last year because I wasn't able to make it. But in years past it was published in the days leading up the festival, sometimes the last day.

 

Fantastic event, very well run. Fast lines, good stuff hung around for along time. All beer events should be as good as this one.

Highlights of event:

* Fundamental Obsevation, got 3 pours.
* Sloe Daze by Rare Barrel
* The roaming bands, wish I could play an instrument, would be awesome to march around event
* The two man band with no vocals on the upper most level
* Having my friend tell me Lost Abbey was only a couple of miles away, surprisingly when my wife picked me up after event and I suggested we go there, she said yes! Scored 5 bottles of Framboise, love that stuff.
