Might be a long shot, but does anyone know of any Strawberry Rhubarb and/or Enigma still around the Madison area (or anywhere along I-94 between MSP and Madison)??

 

I know this isn't really what you asked but I believe I saw Enigma in the Beer Depot today

 

Any indication on when they will sell out of r&d today?

 

Do they have out of season Thumbprints randomly in the beer depot? Never been, but that makes it sound even better!

 

So are line shares still allowed or are they putting a stop to all outside beer?

 

The Strawberry Rhubarb is nowhere to be found, unfortunately. Was hoping they would be at the Depot but no luck. They confirmed all stores are sold out as well.

 

The depot did have the elusive raspberry tart 4 packs (2 per person).

Line shares were clearly still fine but no sharing up on the main grounds. Deb stopped newly arriving people who were rolling in coolers after the line was already moving (because obviously they weren't line sharing at that point since the line moves awesomely fast)

 

Won't be able to get there til a little after 4. Think they'll still have bottles available?

 

Dan said that their 25th anniversary beer is aging in brandy barrels that previously had bourbon in them (Driftless Glen maybe?).

 

Just picked up mine and there was plenty left.

Wait, am I reading this right, they stopped shares on the main grounds? One of the best things about r&d releases is the bottle shares.

Yes, you're reading correctly. I didn't hear a reason but if it's because of those guys almost fighting at the last release, well, you know who to blame for us not being able to have nice things.

 

The craft beer community has some of the best people you will ever meet as well as some of the worst . . .

 

FYI for Mead drinkers. Folks from Second City Meadery are pouring samples in line right now!! Go get yourself some!!! You will thank me later...

 

Yeah...its really a shame that one of the coolest, cleanest, and just all around great breweries had to stop bottle shares in the beer garden because of (1) incident. Next we won't be able to share in the parking lot.....which will happen sooner than later as peeps were pissing in the woods just off the parking lot (which was noticed by staff members). Its pretty pathetic people can't walk to the bathrooms about 30 yards away.

 

I peed on your car while chanting Dave Matthews sucks, the staff then gave me 2 R/D bottles free of charge.

 

Anyone know if there's any chance of me still getting some if I get there in like an hour?
