I still got my glasses from last year. I hope they work on the new label.

It will be what the market dictates, to an extent. We'll see!

West suburbs at beer cellar. They only got one case though. Just happened to be there when it was delivered.

So I must give Short's props for doing what they did. Despite the packaging line problem. I had 3 pints last night at the Wine Merchant in Findlay. If you consider the logistics of kegging that beer in Elk Rapids, and getting it all the way to Findlay, which has to be a 6.5 hour drive, along with all the other places that got kegs, I have no idea how they could pull it off. That's impressive, and it's a damn good beer too. Must be why they're our favorite Michigan brewery.

I got a 6-pack from Binnys LP yesterday. Drank two last night and thought they were great but as I was checking it in on Untappd - saw a few mentions of it being "dank." I opened another one now and it was extremely bitter and nothing like the 2 other bottles last night! Poured it down the drain and opened another and it was fine.

This years PCG smell like Superfluid to anyone else? Nothing similar thought in taste besides the normal Shorts IPA finish. Really wish I could compare this to last years batch.

@SeanfromShorts, at the end of the day if presented with one case I would take half Zombie half PCG, but if I could only pick one I would have to go with Zombie. Any chances of you guys brewing a all Citra PA or IPA, or is there one already but I'm not aware of?

At this point, I think Zombie is maybe 30% Citra...

Years ago I had a debate with this cat in Jackson Hole, he was in favor of cans' desirability. I was in the other crowd. These days, it seems like cans are not going anywhere, and only taking more of the market.

It was quite the nightmare and in fact I would say that this could have been one of the most challenging projects I have ever worked on due to the variables involved. I am literally just becoming functional again from the project.

Damn, gotta admit I'm pretty bummed the West Lafayette/Village Bottle Shop delivery didn't show up again today...claims they're still getting it though. Oh well, just a reminder why I haven't been chasing any releases for several years. Really wanted to try this one. Hope the other Indiana accounts got a taste!

Had a couple PCG tonight and it is really good. Can't argue with saying it's better than. ZD.

I know we're all enjoying (or possibly still waiting for) PCG, but news is news. Hold on to your livers, because....

    NEW BEER UP!

Peachy Pom Pom is getting a release this year, now in six packs under the Salvacious Planemo series. For those who don't remember from the bomber release last year:

"Peachy Pom Pom is a rosy colored American Sour Ale brewed with peaches and pomegranate. Tart berry aromatics accentuate the sweet and sour fruit flavors within this beer. A huge tangy mouth feel with some initial acidic citrus qualities shocks the palate before a clean and lightly dry finish."

I found this one on tap last year and was able to grab a pint. From what I remember, this one was more tart (the description says tangy) than sour, which is fine by me. I'll take a tart or tangy ale over sour any day.
