when is the next can release and which beer is it?

finished up my last snoochie cans

 

all I know for sure is that Night Moth IIPA will drop very soon for growlers and pours @BJP will probably update soon!

Beer Update:

Night Moth - American oak-aged IPA 7.2%

Some anonymous tasting comments:

"complex"
"it's familiar but I can't place it"
"like waking up in forest on a cool fall morning"
"whut"

Aroma: Bright oak notes. Green citrus/spruce. Wood intensifies as it warms.

Flavor/Mouthfeel: Our house water profile. The softness/sweetness is balanced well with the bitterness. The finish is cleaned up a bit by the tannins. A medley of white grapefruit, pine and vanilla. The complexity keeps you coming back to try and make sense of it.

The beer is going to evolve over time. The intention is to move the oak into the brite/serving tank. I did this with another beer awhile back and it's a great journey to follow the progression of the oak over the 4 weeks or so that it's in the tank. Don't fuck this up by buying it all too soon

Tapping by 4pm on Thursday. Available by the growler as well.

Also, finally cracked a Snoochie from the most recent batch...seemed less bitter & more enjoyable to my palate.

Fyi - these pieces were already in his portfolio. We chose them to pair with the beer. No custom work yet.

 

stopped by to sample Ghost Tropic, very solid but below Snoochie and Radio Swan. given the description, didn't get the burst of citrus i was expecting. not a big fan of amarillo hops either, so that could be playing a factor.

i'm just starting to get into the style, and snoochie is my favorite so far. nearly flawless

It happens. I asked for cans of Radio Swan the other day at a liquor store and they looked at me funny. Then I corrected myself to Snoochie and they forked over the 4 pack....
